As almost any EV on the market now, the Kia Soul EV offers the B-mode. This is the regenerative braking mode that you can activate with the shifter and use as much regen braking as possible.
In this mode, your brake pads will not work almost at all times, all braking is done thanks to the electric motor regeneration mode. Also, the recuperated energy is sent directly to the high-voltage battery which is good for the energy economy.
