Jump-starting an electric vehicle is a little bit different than a conventional ICE-driven car. In this video, I will show you the process of jump-starting the Kia Soul EV. You will need either jumping cables or a battery booster to do this and there are a lot of important things to know before you do this.
First of all, remember that the negative jumper cable shouldn’t be connected to the battery terminal in your Soul EV. There is a special ground point that you can use for this. Also, the negative cable should be connected last and disconnected first when the process is completed.
