The Volkswagen Jetta Mk6 may have either hydraulic, or electric power steering. In my case, this is the 2012 Jetta with the 2.5L engine and these cars, as well as the 2-liter ones, came with the hydraulic power steering, so they will have the reservoir for the hydraulic fluid.

If you have a TDI or TSI Jetta, those ones will only have electric power steering which means there will be no hydraulic system with the tank and fluid in it. Also, the electric power steering will not need to be serviced in any way. I hope the information in this video is helpful!
