2000 12 Hours of Sebring. The legendary La Bomba Race Car Float, based in Sarasota, FL being transformed from a 12 Hours of Sebring Race Car Float into Santa's Sleigh Float for Christmas Revelry around Sarasota, FL in the year 2000. In this video we are seen assembling the Sleigh at Ralph Doty's shop and then filling up at the gas station before going on to the downtown Sarasota, FL Christmas Parade. The scene of rockin' the float was shot on the SW side of the Siesta Drive Bridge, Sarasota, FL. You can see the two or three homes in the background that have such a fabulous Christmas Lights display every year. The La Bomba Christmas Float always makes for lots of smiles and good cheer as it motors around the town of Sarasota, FL. Soon after Christmas the float undergoes another transformation for the Rubonia Mardi Gras Parade the first weekend in March. A couple of weeks after the Rubonia Mardi Gras and we are back to the La Bomba Racing Regalia and off to yet another 12 Hours of Sebring.
