Context: Full-defensive means that you defend the whole lawn columns 1-8, including imps, or anything else that might get in the way.
The idea behind these setups is to use the P6-2i rhythm. 24 cob is playable using the P6-2i rhythm (youtu.be/poYNlNXZbjA ). However, some people have wondered whether this rhythm is playable with less cobs?
P6-2i 24 cob is infamously super difficult so removing cobs can only make it more difficult or impossible.

This solution is possible because you're actually able to play with the following P6-2i variant- ice2 | cob | ice2 | cob | cob | cob (+ doom).
The original perfect formula P6-2i variant played- ice2 | cob | cob | ice2 | cob | cob which is rather inefficient because you have to have 2 double accelerated waves which is difficult because of pole vaulters.
You actually can play this with the perfect formula P6-2i variant but you have to be smart about it so I will get to that in a future video.
The 22 cob is much much easier than the 21 cob and it's also much more stable. W1-w2 on the 21 cob solution is actually not stable and can't be played rigorously with manual hand speed. The cannon fodders force the ice to be timed early which makes it so you have to instant kill the gigas in 4 cobs. The gigas will try and shoot their imp way too early for that to be possible but it’s easy to luck out.
This is different than perfect formula because you only have to instant kill the gigas in 3 cobs instead of 4 since you can fodder the top half gigas. This is the difference between PPSSDD and PPSSSSDD in terms of hand speed. Considering perfect formula requires PSSD hand speed to be played, taking that up another level isn't viable.
Also, using kernel pult as fodder in full-defensive 21 is unstable because of butter.
