#pearlthecv20 What a palava! Luckily Heather came to the rescue as always.
Originally we were supposed to be in Wales this weekend but decided against it, then we were going to Rowsley near Matlock but the site was booked solid so Heather had to get on the internet quickly and find us somewhere else! It turns out we found a hidden gem which suited us well.

The site has great 4G reception and is close to a pub, all pitches are hardstanding with electric and there is water and elsan but no toilets or showers, we paid £20 a night on October 6&7 2023. It's a short walk into the town of Belper along a good footpath although it is on the busy A6 so road noise is a small thing to consider.

We're just an ordinary couple in our 50's filming our adventures with basic equipment so don't expect loads of flash camera action and super editing with great music.
We also film videos of work we have done on our van as well as van reviews for our reference of the next van we might buy. Occasionally there are hints & tips videos too. We do basic site and area reviews including if they’re dog friendly but they’re a guide only based on our opinions which may or may not help you make an informed decision on if you’d like the place.
We do a mix of off grid camping, pub stopovers plus real campsites too, hopefully something for everyone to enjoy!
