I never really got into this series, it doesn't play all that bad but it never really clicked with me for some reason.
Alice's most useful string is down+Punch, Kick, Kick. It will land hits on most of the opponents up until stage 7 or 8, usually. I like to transform into Beast mode after the 1st round because then the bar is mostly full, so there's less chance of losing it. All attacks do more damage when in Beast mode.
The other useful move is qcb+P, which is an armored move that knocks enemies back.
On most stages you can walk up to an enemy as the round starts and mash throw (P+K) to grab them before they can do anything. This is NOT guaranteed so use it with caution.
For Uriko (the last boss), it's best to just stay a short distance away at the beginning and try to whiff punish her attacks with qcb+P. Once she's transformed, continue to keep your distance and wait for her to do her lightning attack thing, at which point you need to run up and throw her as she recovers. It's a little inconsistent (my first attempt on stream ended in failure) but luckily she decided to spam it a lot this time.

![Arcade RetroAchievements - SFIII 4rd Strike romhack, session 1 [02-15-2026 stream]
This romhack changes a lot of things around balance-wise, attempting to add new moves, making Gill playable and adding an extra version of Sean. Was it a hit with the 3rd Strike scene? As far as I can tell, not really. Theres a lot of weird changes and the jurys out on what the balance is like now. Was kinda fun to fuck around with at least. Unfortunately the set requires getting an S-rank win with every character and that feels like a lot of luck in hoping the CPU will let you meet all the weird arbitrary requirements for it.
This set is continued in the following VODs if you want to see the rest of this. Im probably leaving them as unlisted.
