This is a long video on how to do a SHORT TERM or long term repair the Fusible Links on a 89-97's Nissan D21 truck or Pathfinder. I'm sure it applies to most Nissan's of that era. I take you from how to find out if it's bad to how to carefully pull it apart and fix it with new Fusible Link wires or temporary wires of the same gauge.
The wires I used in this video are temporary and should NOT be used long term. The reason is not that the gauge is wrong, it's that the jacket is NOT designed to hold the fire and melted wire internally. IF you don't use the correct fusible link wires the jacket can catch on fire when it melts and theoretically catch something else on fire in the engine compartment. So change it as soon as practical. Also monitor them for signs of over heating until you can change them out.
You can buy complete wired units on eBay with this search on eBay "24022-01G00 Fusible Link" or go to the dealer and give them this NISSAN PN: 24022-01G00.
Thanks to a astute comment from YouTuber "Kenabi", who informed me about Color Coded Fusible Link wires. So I looked them up, I now know about them, and I'm passing the information on to you.

****** Note ****** that NISSAN in 1995 did NOT follow these color codes so you will have to determine on your own what fusible link amperage you need, then order it, Note the color will be different from what the vehicle originally came with since Nissan did NOT use the same color code as used today. It is my recommendation that you just replace it with the correct fusible link as soon as possible.
