He was the only artist credited on a Beatles recording, the #1 hit Get Back - The Beatles with Billy Preston. In the 1970s he performed with George Harrison, Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones. Signed with Motown he duetted with Syreeta Wright on the #5 US hit With You I’m Born Again. Singer-songwriter Syreeta’s career flourished during the 1960s when she met Stevie Wonder. They married in 1970 and, although their marriage only lasted 18 months, they remained best friends and working partners for the next two decades.
