I finish up the clock with new Tyvek paper bellows and adjust the comb on the music box so you can hear it, but not so loud it might drive you crazy. Also so the weight can pull through and play all the music without getting stuck. I also talk about the adjustment wire and lever for the music box.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not succoring the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
