I bought this vintage, Circa 1905 German Grande Sonnerie Bracket Clock and the Suspension Spring was missing. So this video, I show how to figure out the length of the Spring. If anyone knows what this clock is, compared to what I think I found, then let me know.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
