Here's a gameplay video of my 1974 Williams Skylab pinball machine.

This game was designed by Steve Kordek with artwork by Christian Marche.

The machine is very pretty with deep, rich colours and attractive artwork. I love the backglass and the purple hues on the playfield.

Unfortunately, the game is a bit of a snoozer. There's not much going on with this one. Spell S-P-A-C-E-L-A-B to add to your bonus. Move all 5 captive balls to the lit side of the horseshoe at the playfield's centre to get an extra ball. That's about it.

The playfield design is similar to Williams 'Jubilee', but has a superior art package and in-lanes for increased ball control.

Anyway, the Williams EM's are fun to play. They feel like they're built like tanks and the chimes have a special charm all their own. I find Williams EM's to feel a little more solid than Bally machines from the period, but that might just be my imagination.
