I'm selling my 1971 Fender Jazz Bass Guitar with 1991 "Original Fender Neck." The pickups, control plate, neck plate and possibly tuners are original. If I were to part the guitar out, I think I could sell it all for $2,000 to $2,950, so I'm going to try and sell it for $1,500, which I think is a fair price.

Body - $1,000-1,200
Neck Plate - $100-125
High Mass Bridge - $100-150
Pickups - $400-525
Control Plate - $100-350
Fender Neck - $200-400
Tuners - $100-200
Total Parted Out Estimate - $2,000-2,950

What do you think? Is $1,500 too cheap for this vintage bass or is it too expensive?

I decided to make this video to demo the guitar to sell, (even though I am not a great bass player).
