Here we have a rather decent demonstration of my crappy pinball playing skills on a 1960 Gottlieb Spot-A-Card pinball machine. I sold this machine as a project to my pal Adam the neighbour and together we got the game humming along quite nicely.
Spot-A-Card is pretty nifty game with some challenging rules. Hitting the lit cards on the playfield lights the corresponding card on the backbox. Lighting all of the cards awards one replay and lights the centre rollover button for special, which allows the player to rack up free games if they can keep the ball in play while it's lit. The playfield also has a gobble hole, which eats the ball but awards a whipping 200 points in the process.
Spot-A-Card was designed by the great Wayne Neyens with artwork by the legendary Roy Parker. For more information on this machine, see here:
