Here we have a pretty rare 1960 2-player Gottlieb Lite-A-Card pinball machine in action for your viewing pleasure. Rarity is subjective in this case because Gottlieb made a decent number of 2-player machines in the 50's and early 60's but they all had a run between 500 and 1500 units, generally. So in that regard, nearly all 2-player woodrails are "rare". Gottlieb produced 850 Lite-A-Card machines.
This game features four flippers with the upper flippers being used mainly to try to hit the centre target at the top for 150 points. Lighting the Yellow and purple bumpers on the left side and/or the green and red bumpers on the right side light one gobble hole which, when hit, advances the arrow above the cards on the backglass. This feature carries over from game to game as it's pretty tough to advance. If the arrow gets all the way to the deuce, the game awards an operator-adjustable number of replays. The idea here was that if the arrow was near the deuce then people would be inclined to continue playing the game to try for the multiple replays.
Gobble hole games in the modern era are pretty mystifying for players... I mean, who wants to lose the ball? But it was common practice in the early days of pinball and was used by Gottlieb until 1963 and by Williams until 1964.
