This WW2 Canadian Emergency Ration was carried by all soldiers in their packs as a last ditch effort means of food. Pretty much their iron ration of the era - similar to the D Ration or British Emergency Ration in it's purpose, but not 100% the same in it's component breakdown. Well.. pretty much it is except instead of all chocolate, this one also gives you some really dry hardtack as well. So we check out how to make things a little more interesting when all you have are two components.
