This is our 1942 BMW R-75 and sidecar (Gespann). It is powered by a 750 cc flat twin (OHV) engine. The sidecar wheel is driven with an axle connected to the rear wheel of the motorcycle. It has foot and manual shifting, including a reverse gear. Well-made, heavy-duty rig produced for the Wehrmacht (German Army) in WWII. Quail 2015 winner -- "Tribute to Military Motorcycles".
