This motorcycle is a rare find. It was raced at Daytona in the 1940s by rider Wallace Akins. In this video you can see it start and run well. It shifts on the tank on the right. There are very few examples of race bikes from those early years. Those are the original number plates on the bike too. This is an Indian motorcycle that has true racing provenance! We recently tuned it up and sold it for a customer.
Current owner is thinning his collection and is looking to sell this one of a kind machine.
