The Grade II listed Iron Duke is a striking Art Deco public house on Great Yarmouth’s seafront in Norfolk that has stood vacant since 2007.

Purchased by the Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust in 2021, the building is now undergoing full restoration with support from our #HeritageAtRisk Capital Fund.

The main restoration has reinstated the building’s 1930s appearance using original plans, historic research and specialist conservation expertise. The building will reopen as a pub and restaurant alongside two holiday apartments.
