This 1928 BMW R57 is a rare motorcycle. Built from 1928 to 1930, BMW produced only about 1,000 motorcycles. It is both rare and superbly engineered. It has a four stroke, two cylinder horizontally opposed engine. Tough to ride with a throttle lever - not your standard twist throttle, tank shift and rear heel brake. (The position of the brake is such that the rider has to stop using his heel pressed firmly down.) But she runs beautifully.
