The Morgan County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating after an 18-year-old was shot to death north of Martinsville early Sunday morning.

Just after 12:30 a.m. Sept. 15, police say there was a shootout at a home on Robb Hill Road, near Brooklyn Fire Station 42.

According to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, one man was hit and got in a car and drove away. He made it down Robb Hill Road to the intersection with State Road 142, where he died from his injury.

Sunday afternoon, the Morgan County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 18-year-old Thawng Tha Sang.
