Nine people were shot, one fatally, in several shootings across Indianapolis Friday night and Saturday morning.
"This violence we've seen in the last 12 hours, 24 hours is outrageous for us to see," IMPD Officer Drew Brown said. "For our community members and our neighbors to look around and see these types of things happening, for our officers and detectives who are working hard responding to these types of things, it can be heartbreaking."
Anyone with information about any of the shootings is encouraged to contact IMPD or call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana anonymously at 317-262-TIPS.
