A $27 million multi-use development is planned for downtown Westfield, the city announced Tuesday.

Ambrose on Main would be located at the northeast corner of State Road 32/Main Street and East Street and feature "modern amenities such as plaza and courtyard areas spanning 6,000 square feet, a 2,000 square foot rooftop patio and over 12,000 square feet of new commercial space," the city said in a statement.

The project, developed by Rebar Development, would also include a restaurant with outdoor seating, as well as nearly 90 one- and-two-bedroom apartments with a lounge, cafe, fitness center and pet spa.
