I modified a KATO 1/150 scale TOYOTA ProBox so that it can be driven by remote control.
The car is powered by a 25mAh Li-Po battery (Size:9×9×4mm).
It is equipped with two motors: one for steering and one for driving.
The steering mechanism uses a motor to drive a lead screw, and a rod-and-linkage system changes the direction of the front wheels. Two photoreflectors are installed to detect the motor rotation and the position of the lead screw.
The small gears used to reduce the motor speed were extracted by disassembling watches.
The remote controller uses infrared communication, and the car is equipped with a miniature SMD infrared receiver module.
Terminals for battery charging and program rewriting are installed on the underside of the vehicle.

動力源は25mAhのLi-Poバッテリー（サイズ：9×9×4mm）です。
モーターはステアリング用と駆動用の2個搭載しています。
ステアリング機構はモーターで送りねじを駆動し、ロッドとリンク機構によって前輪の方向を切り替えます。モーターの回転数と送りねじの位置を検出するために、2個のフォトリフレクタを取り付けています。
モーターの減速に使用した小型ギアは、腕時計を分解して取り出したものです。
リモコンは赤外線通信方式を採用しており、車体には小型のSMD赤外線受信モジュールを搭載しています。
バッテリーの充電とプログラムを書き換える端子は車体底部に設置されています。
