Wagner Leitmotifs | 106 Gutrune : Der Ring Des Nibelungen @wagnerleitmotifs7654 | Uploaded September 2013 | Updated October 2024, 13 hours ago.
This leitmotif is first heard in act 1 scene 2 of Gotterdammerung.

This motif represents Gutrune, the very beautiful sister of Gunther. The first two bars are an inversion of the opening of Siegfried's Horn Call and the opening interval is the same as in the Ring. The final bar is from Freia as Love, the goddess of beauty.
