Dennis Miller sells us and his dog on the virtues of using a dial around long distance service that makes all calls of 20 minutes or less only a dollar. The "what can you get for a buck?" refrain seemingly resonated strongly with customers as 10-10-220 was one of the more successful services and the commercials were well known.

The airwaves were once filled with ads for these dial around (alternate long distance) services, after the period of alternate (non-ATT) long distance services and before long distance became a marginal market.

This 30 second spot aired during a showing of South Park in 1999.
