Well, I had to push to get a fix for this map to actually max it, but it still counts, right? :^) Actually, the original version was surprisingly close to maxable because of a number of cheese strats, a couple of which managed to survive into this run.

For one, the start is a fairly safe zone, and it has two block sound lines that prevent the viles from being triggered. More importantly, though, there's a very trivial setup for skipping the icon lowering entirely with sr50; I use it here to avoid monster spawners to help know for sure that I completed max, but it was essential in the original version where you would need to spend a lot of time in the next area killing things.

So, you can trivially spend a bunch of time at the start killing shit and leave with the line skip only when you are ready. Thankfully, you can alert everything by peeking around the corner at the start. You can also trigger the line for the two side cybs before leaving as well, and kill those guys early, so you basically use all the plasma you need at the start. This happens in this run purely by chance; it's a precise linedef to trigger, so I didn't go for it in the table filler (plus 4 cybs is a bit harder to fight), but it works out quite nicely here. You can even BFG kill all the revs from the start, but this is only marginally useful because they will be rezzed anyway once you cross the line.

Once you're in the next area, you are free to roam around at will, and you can even easily run back into the start with an opposite skip (which is south, so a much easier direction, only needs strafe40, no wall). But the AVs are just a huge road-block anyway. You can rocket splash them, and if you shoot long enough, eventually, you will kill all the revs such that they are far away from the AVs (this happens when your rocket hits the wall behind them, and the splash kills them, pushing them to the edge of the ledge), but that takes awhile, and in the meantime, you'll waste a lot of rockets on the revs and a lot more that just don't autoaim properly. TAS could definitely do it, probably with even fewer rockets than are on the map rn; I found that 128 extra rocket boxes would have done the trick to make it doable non-TAS, but it would be a painful nine minute grind. Probably better that the map was fixed to have this crusher to make it a bit more reasonable. :^)

Overall, once it was fixed, I only took like 40-ish attempts to get this, and three exits. This one was quite fast because of the extra cyb trigger, and overall, just went quite well I think. Table complete. :)
