I was testing time stop some more, and I noticed that the 100 coin star actually does load, albeit in a state similar to an interference clone at the origin of the course. Unlike interference clones, when time is resumed the star will load normally. Why the 100 coin star spawns where it spawns is currently unknown, as it doesn’t spawn at Mario, where the 100th coin was collected, or where ITS was initiated.
