This is my own tryout after a picture from Rick Friedrich of his resonance kit part 2. The values I used will be different from his setup, this video is only to show you the output wave has resonant frequency of 1Mhz while 4Mhz without the varistor. What you see are my personal findings and may not be linked to output from the real resonant kit part 2. It's just that I was searching for so long to see a positive influence from varistor to output that now I finally saw it, I wanted to share it to other people who are searching for this.
I'm not able to use the output yet because the impedance change as a result of loading the capacitor de-tunes the whole setup and it takes a long time before voltage is back to best result. The most important thing to me is that this setup showed me what's happening when we get resonance with added varistor. The L2 coil consists of a resonance kit coil like it is and I unwind another one to place it next to that one but with 3 more windings. I had to do it this way because 6cm tube is not directly available overhere as a standard tube diameter. The L1 is 1/4 length of L2.
