The spring migrants seem to be late to return to Newfoundland so Brad focused most of his attention on waterfowl because of ideal conditions. He mixed in some urban lights, early morning light, and scouted a new location on a foggy morning that seems to have great potential. Ray had another amazing week at the Great Salt Lake photographing an incredible variety of scenes and wildlife. He wrapped up his last client and had 40 outings in 21 days! The guys also talk about using Nikon’s highlight priority metering and how that helps in certain scenarios. They also talk about how and when they use slower shutter speeds to photograph birds and what they are trying to achieve when they do. Ray also teases an incredible encounter he had just before recording.
