!!! Attention: In this experiment I use high voltage, only experiment if you know how to handle high voltage and at your own risk !!!
This experiment shows us that the polarity of the field around the plate changes every time we change the Earth ground connection from one side of the capacitor to the other.
When we have a change the led on output transformer flashes.
Also look at 3:20 when I repeatedly touch the positive side of the capacitor the field around plate goes more negative. The difference is that for the led to light up I need to change from positive to negative side. If I repeatedly touch the same side the led doesn't light up only the field gets stronger.
