MEP DUMP | ANOTHER YEAR OLDER, HELP ME

MafiaGravity 2023-05-09 | god i was gonna upload this on may 5 as like a surprise after my birthday on may 4, but i had work and that drained the hell out of me til today aka monday. so now here ya go. 3 days late but oh well. at least it was worth the wait.

i guess it's just a lot to take in after being in the community since i was 15 and at least a decade later, i'm still here. idk it's a lot of good and bad. good because i met some amazing people that helped me grow up to be the adult i should be. others...lets just say there's a lot of things that could've been done better, but people turned for the worse and despite my efforts to make things right, their attitudes never improved so i had no choice but to cut ties and walk away. the internet really destroys people because they lose sight of their happiness then crave for others' validation boost their self esteem. i'm happy i didn't let that get to me and stayed my true self but evolved.

all i can say is this - never keep a mental image of me. i am not 15 years old anymore. you can be my friend whether you are older or younger than me (ok don't be a literal child, i will not interact with you at all), but don't see me as someone you need to take care of. keeping a mental image of me hurts you in the long run. all i ask for is for my friends and anyone who loves me to follow along with me on my journey. i guarantee you that you will be happier because my evolution becomes a blessing in disguise. As miley sings in "midnight sky" - I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no. I don't need to be loved by you.

HELLO HELLO! i have risen from the dead....sort of.
ok i got a new job as a full time worker so my editing time shrunk so badly.
adulting stinks so badly but i need the money to spoil myself.
but anyways, happy new year! it's 2023 already and idk how to feel about this lol. at least i am alive to welcome you all to the new year!
i sound way too cheesy holy moly. not sure what i should be saying. but i guess it's been a while since i've said something. so here i go.

2022 has been a great year for me because i improved my mentality and emotional behavior greatly after pushing myself to get out of a tricky situation and cutting myself away from people who don't do anything beneficial for my growth. and i'm happy i did because it made me realize so many things i didn't see before where i could've escaped back then when i had the chance. i think after upon reflection, i'm way better right now because i had room to grow a tough skin to handle certain things without crying and whining over something so minor. i guess you can say my sensitivity dropped significantly after distancing myself. now i'm just unhinged and sarcastic while throwing a lot of sussy comments, but not everyone will get it and that's ok. at least i can laugh it off and smile away. i guess this is what happens when i watch a lot of @VoxAkuma lol. he became my role model because of his personality and backstory. he's the reason i'm like this today. if anything, i became 1000x happier now that i know i can wake up to his streams to hype me up for the day before i go to work.

i thank everyone that still stayed with me after everything. i know i still have room to grow, but at least i stayed and not leave. why? i care. i don't give up on people easily unless they give up on me. i hope people realize their faults but that's not my problem if they don't. i'm moving on.

anyways, enjoy my collection of garbage parts. idk how i'm still editing despite working 40 hours a week.

you know i don't calm tf down when the ship finally becomes real and animated. i really recommend this anime and manga because it's so damn wholesome and adorable. the ship really showcased what true love really is and really reminds me of how i first met my girlfriend (been together for 5 years now). now i got nothing to look forward to on sundays but i'll be alright because i can just dread about going back to work on mondays since i now work as a pharmacy clerk. so hooray; no more unemployment!

the concept i wanted to show here is how i've been down in the dumps after a lot of things and feel like people really shouldn't be my friend. i don't get why people still stayed despite how horrible i am. i just assume everyone would leave me based on the "lies" said about me. i'm still feeling this way to this very day even though many people told me i'm worth the friendship but i just feel like i'll turn into their punching bag in the future. i already have enemies at this point but i'm gonna try and move on. please do not press on this matter further. i don't need more weight on my back just because people can't mind their business.

[GMV] Albedo | Monster

MafiaGravity 2021-12-09 | this is sort of a vent-ish edit but at the same time, i wanted to edit to albedo because i really enjoyed the event a lot ❤️

but to explain - lately i've been feeling really angry and frustrated because i tried so hard for others only for people to walk out of my life because they see me as this "monster" but i guess they just come in and out through my door whenever they feel like. i've lost a couple of close friends already due to similar behavior that i feel i cannot save or help at all. so i left it there and moved on.
now i am scared word will spread and more people will leave me. what did i do to deserve this? am i at fault? am i truly a monster people perceive me as?
if people want to leave, be my guest. i'm really tired of trying only for people to throw rocks at me. they want to create their narrative where they are the victim and i am the villain. they want to take everything i do and turn it into shitfest against me by violating my privacy to validate themselves while invalidating my feelings.
i'm tired of losing people. i'm tired of being the punching bag for people. i'm tired of being used and taken for granted. i'm tired....

i've held off on doing this edit because i was swamped with last minute papers. i really tried to hold it in because the shitstorm slapped me in the face midweek. no one understands how much crying i did that night. i wanted to withdraw myself from everything so people can stop remembering me. i only stayed for others' sake. but in reality....i wish no one met me...

i edited to albedo because it shows how albedo is fighting against his imposter or "monster" because his imposter wants to get rid of albedo and take over to enjoy the joy albedo had out of jealousy because the imposter is the "failed experiment" craving for perfection. i'm fighting against my monster that is causing friends to leave me. i don't want to lose more friends. true friends can tell the real helene from the imposter. only true friends fight to keep me. and those who left...they were never genuine in the first place.

MEP Collection | Happy 10 Years on YouTube 🎉

Welp but I got this done anyways on time so yay.
It's been a while as I've been on and off with editing because I was stuck in Genshin hell so my mood to edit dropped, but I regained that mood again lately as of today so that's good.

To start, I've been doing so much MEP hosting (2 birthdays and a cheer up), so I'm really sorry if I seem so "closed off" during the time and that resulted in delaying my More MEP that's been hosted since last year. I really really cannot focus on too many things or I will get confused on who owes me what. Be it that everyone is super understanding so I'm thankful ♥ and it's August now which means more time to keep an eye on my own thing instead of doing things for others atm.

2nd, irl stuff. I quit 2 jobs due to poor management where it affected my mental health a lot (suffered anxiety attacks in the middle of my shifts and hardly anyone cared; they treated my mental health state like it's BS). So now I'm just at home job hunting while I am finishing my master's degree (graduating at the end of this year).

3rd, friendships. I made a few new friends after April after my issue back in February due to a fallout with a bestie (just read the stuff from my previous MEP collection; it's that). They were really caring, supportive, and accepting of me even though half the times I was too scared to go closer due to trauma. They know I'm way better than "her" as I was more mature due to my bluntness, funnier, and sweeter. Honestly I made the best decision ever meeting them after "she" left.

Lastly, celebrating 10 years on YouTube. I started editing at 15 when I was just watching YGO AMVs and got inspired. So I tried using WMM on a shared PC with my parents, got Vegas a year after thanks to a friend's help, got my own laptop at 17, and now 3 laptops and 2 externals later, here I am. I did everything I could within the 10 years - editing, MEP hosting, studio leading, and graphic designing. It all comes down to my place now. I never thought I'd still be here at 25 years old. It's a lot to take in.

MEP Collection | Quarterly Updates #1

MafiaGravity 2021-04-03 | I was gonna get this up earlier but it's my parents' anniversary so I wanted to spend time with them.

A lot has happened within the first 4 months of 2021. I guess I can start with the fact I'm doing a pretty good job limiting on the number of MEPs I join because I want to focus more on irl stuff since I'm almost done with my master's degree so I would need to move forward with my career and leave my shit retail job.

Second thing is how I feel in the editing community in terms of friendships - I was really devastated between February and March because the one friend I love and trusted to the point I was hoping to fly over to see her for anime conventions decided to up and block me because she was "tired of me" then gaslighted me claiming I was guilt tripping and twisting the situation when I wasn't. I had proof to back up my claims. My mental state really took a toll there. But I'm better now cuz fuck it. She can go cry me a river for her regrets, but I will not keep standing by the door waiting for her to open it if she refuses to let me in.

At this point, I'm ready to keep going with my editing and fuck all the hilichurls (genshin reference) that tried to attack me because they want what I have. I earned this pride by working hard. I'm not going to give it up to a bunch of clowns trying to bully me because they don't allow me to live my life. My name is Helene. I'm proud of this name given to me from birth.

yes i am still on hiatus but it's more or less "semi hiatus" because i still wanna do mep parts whenever i see a signup i really like or it's for a studio to keep my activity in check. the only difference is that i'm trying to keep a limit of 10 mep parts and below right now because i'm still dealing with the heavy workload for the semester and then my usual part time job in retail (which btw i'm taking 2 weeks off atm because of emotional and mental exhaustion where my anxiety levels spiral out of control to the point i either isolate myself completely forever or i just cry on the spot).

istg i'm not dead ;u; i got so busy trying to finish up the semester for my master's program with the amount of writing assignments i got stuck doing all while working in retail (might change jobs soon for the sake of my mental health). now that the semester is done, i can kinda edit more until 2021 hits and i'll be on hiatus(?). i still love editing but irl is taking a toll on me and a lot happened in 2020 that made me feel like shit.

p.s. the baddest mep still isn't done cuz i never found time to do my parts at all cuz of the writing assignments (try doing research papers every week), so i guess it'll be the first mep of 2021 on my channel?

this part was so much fun to do cuz i managed to learn how to do ink blots and my god everyone in the mep did amazing (and then there's me sticking out like a sore thumb) with the theme uwu. i'm so happy to do this part before the year ends. the theme, in livey's words, was "memories with loved ones or someone that is special to you and happy moments" by picking an anime to portray our feelings to our special someone. a lot of my close friends know this by now xD chuuya is me and dazai is my friend whom i nickname a "hoe" and she's the dazai to my chuuya (well ok i'm dating another girl so this is only a platonic relationship). so this part is dedicated to her ♥

To "dazai the hoe": hihi! i know you weren't really expecting this at all, but surprise! ilysm and i hope we can still be together for many years forwards. i know 2020 has been rough for both of us but know that i'll never leave your side even if we fight a million times. i hope you realize that even if you think i don't care but i do. you nicknaming me chuuya was the start of our friendship as soukoku and i couldn't be more happy to call you dazai (ya hoe). meeting you in 2016 i didn't know what to expect. 2017 my chuuya persona was born and you became dazai. 2018 apparently i'm a git B(. 2019 i'm your "whore" xD. and now 2020 came and apparently i'm chibi =3=. despite all that, we still love each other cuz our bond is stronger than we think. i'll keep it short so it doesn't look too scary seeing this xD but love you and hopefully we can spent more years together going forwards wherever we are in the world.

Thanks for the amazing 9 years of AMV editing on YouTube despite changing channels about 5 times due to copyright infringement for media or music. I know my raw and fx are still a bit crappy, but I still love what I do. Idk if I will make this hobby last for more years considering I'm 24 now with a bachelor's and soon a master's, meaning I gotta be working full time soon so less time to edit. Either way, I love AMV editing.

YOOOOOO look who managed to grab the opportunity to host a MEP for one of the biggest editing studios in the AMV community? The leaders trusted me so much that I had to say yes right away when I was asked to host one MEP for the raw team (and cuz I'm that one editor willing to do so many backup parts which is not an ideal way to live cuz I also work part time in retail and is pursuing a master's in healthcare management but eehhh yolo xD).

YDS has been one of my dream studios ever since I encountered it 2 years ago when I saw the Soy Yo MEP. I never thought that December 2018 became the month I joined the studio after passing the 2018 auditions (fact: I had just came out of the shower and freaked when I went on my computer to watch the results video to see my name show up halfway through the video, then flopped on wet hair lol). I never though I would do the studio the honor to host a raw MEP (Livey istg idk how you trust me not to screw up cuz aaahhh).

Thank you so much Fan and Livey for the chance! Thanks to everyone in the MEP for slaying so hard on it cuz y'all really outdid yourself 💖 I'm so proud of you!
