It was really hard for us to define what vfx is as we saw many different projects which were really different from each other being called vfx. Therefore our vfx might not fit your personal perception of vfx, but we tried. We are not claiming that our definition of vfx is the only true correct one. For us, we agreed on a simple definition that it is fx, which still looks like raw. This means that there were a lot of masks and color corrections involved to change the original scenes. In some cases it does resemble crossover edits.The theme of this MEP as the song suggests was afterlife. Someone who doesn't want to stay in normal life because maybe they did something wrong or are depressed and rather want to move on to a better afterlife. You can see how our members interpreted this in different parts. It has been really challenging as we were all trying to combine both raw and fx into every part. Theme was pretty straightforward according to the song to focus on strong female characters. You can see a lot of meps lately with this theme on youtube so we're not claiming it was really original idea but it fits pretty well with the song that we've decided on. Anyway I'm really proud of the result! I admit we were really annoying as the leaders but every single member just did such an outstanding job and the final result is so pretty! It was really sad to hear about it and we only hope for the best for all the people involved and their families. They've created so many amazing titles that influenced our lives and they didn't deserve it at all. It is really heartbreaking. One of our members suggested to do a tribute MEP for them and I'm really glad that many members wanted to participate. We did this "3 days IC" to honor all the work they did. I know it probably doesn't help much but we at least wanted to do something.However I'm really glad to see that many people are helping them in many different ways.
