Creality K1 Max Hotend Upgrade - Trianglelab CHCB-OT Robert Cowan 2024-05-12 | I wasn't very happy with the print quality from my Creality K1 Max so I decided to get it fully updated with the newest firmware, use their new slicer and swap out the hotend with a Trianglelab CHCB-OT with a CHT nozzle. All of this resulted in pretty decent results I can live with. Some printers just need some time to get the firmware right, which is really unfortunate. But overall, it's a very usable printer for certain application.I went with a Trianglelab CHCT-OT hot-end with the ZS MK8 Plus nozzle (which is actually a CHT, or at least mine was). You can buy directly from Trianglelab, but shipping is VERY slow (a few weeks), or directly through my affiliate Amazon link.
