Creality K1 Max Hotend Upgrade - Trianglelab CHCB-OT Robert Cowan 2024-05-12 | I wasn't very happy with the print quality from my Creality K1 Max so I decided to get it fully updated with the newest firmware, use their new slicer and swap out the hotend with a Trianglelab CHCB-OT with a CHT nozzle. All of this resulted in pretty decent results I can live with. Some printers just need some time to get the firmware right, which is really unfortunate. But overall, it's a very usable printer for certain application.I went with a Trianglelab CHCT-OT hot-end with the ZS MK8 Plus nozzle (which is actually a CHT, or at least mine was). Below are some links. I'm not affiliated in any way, I just bought these on my own. You can buy directly from Trianglelab, but shipping is VERY slow (a few weeks), or directly through my affiliate Amazon link. If you buy through Amazon, you might want to also get a 'real' CHT nozzle from Bondtech which would most likely get you some additional flow rate.
