How To Deal With Powder Keg Hermit Crabs in Spelunky 2 Gugubo 2021-10-05 | I started working on this video back in February and only just now finished it. The reason for doing it was really to find out what makes powder kegs explode because it sometimes seemed arbitrary.The short answer to what triggers the explosions (see 1:44) is:It depends only on the velocity of the item hitting it. Additionally, it only depends on the x-velocity if it hits the sides and only on the y-velocity if it hits the top.
