25 doing just fine 🧁 StardustCreations 2024-02-03 | February 4th is my 25th birthday, and I knew as soon as I heard this song that I had to do an edit with it! 🎉I recently had a thought that I would maybe do a special video for this birthday, so I did a search for songs that are about being 25 xD And I ended up finding this gem! It's actually pretty wild how much I relate to it.(Birthday TED Talk incoming)When I think about how I'm a quarter of a century old now, that makes me feel sooo old, lol...But then I remember that with age comes wisdom. I'm not the same person as I was when I was 17, not by a long shot. And I'm so grateful for that, because I've learned so much about myself, about God, about the world and how I relate to all of them. I wouldn't go back to being 17 if someone paid me a million dollars, because where I am now took me so much hard work and personal growth.Being a teenager has its pros and cons, as does adulthood, same with all things. This time, I have a very special video for you guys, and most of my current subscribers are probably sitting here thinking "Uhhh, what is this?"But for those of you that have been following me for a long time, you may be familiar with my very first YouTube channel I had when I created Pixie Hollow music videos...It's what brought me here today and how I learned to edit videos!I was sooo into mermaids and fairies as a child, I couldn't get enough of them! So Tinker Bell and Pixie Hollow were my life for a long while, and I'll admit they will always hold a special place in my heart. ♥This video was made in honor of the website and all the friends I had made there when it was announced it would be closing down on September 19, 2013. It was a very sad day for me because I went on there every single day, and made some pretty close friendships...I even started my own "empire" inside of the world itself, and was known as "Merfairy Empress Sarah Stardust." (For those unaware, yes that's where my channel name originates!)I played on there from the very beginning when it released in 2008, and even though there was good and bad during my time there...I'll always look back on those 5 years with fondness, because they helped shape me into who I am today in many ways.I thought it fitting to commemorate yet another milestone on my channel by re-posting a throwback to the very beginning, where my YouTube journey started. :)I'm choosing to upload this on October 28th, because it's on that day in 2008 that the first Tinker Bell movie came out! We should only enter into a relationship if we feel truly safe and loved.Now, in Diana's case (because unfortunately this show is based on a true story), she didn't really have much of a choice. Aside from the fact she was so young, it was practically an arranged marriage for both of them, and it was doomed from the very beginning.Even so, we can take important lessons from her story. Diana was a beautiful, amazing, inspirational woman. She was everything I imagine any man would love. And yet, she could never win the heart of Prince Charles because he had his sights set on another.It just goes to show, just because someone doesn't choose you...it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. It has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with them.Another lesson to be learned here is just how toxic and volatile a relationship with a narcissist can be. They can be hard to spot, and even more difficult to leave.That's why it's good to educate yourself on just what exactly a narcissist is, in order to help save yourself the pain and heartache.In addition, I believe Diana was an empath, and empaths are extremely vulnerable to these types of people.In summation...it is better to stay single than to allow toxic people into your life. Sometimes we don't know we have let toxic people in until much later in the game...but it's never too late. Diana & Charles - Youre Losing Me StardustCreations 2023-08-17 | I genuinely cannot believe any of The Crown fandom Swifties have not done an edit with this song already, but I guess somebody has to be the first 🤷♀️(Also this is the 2nd Taylor Swift song I've used for these two 😅)__________________________________________________So, you guys know, most of the time I have positive and uplifting content for y'all...Conversely, I have the occasional sad/angsty edit 😅But these sorts of edits can be very cathartic for me in different ways.With this one, it helps me to put things into perspective and reflect about just how determined I am to not end up with a toxic romantic partner...because the truth is, the wrong husband has the potential to destroy your life.As women we should never give up our singleness simply because we are lonely. We should only enter into a relationship if we feel truly safe and loved.Now, in Diana's case (because unfortunately this show is based on a true story), she didn't really have much of a choice. Aside from the fact she was so young, it was practically an arranged marriage for both of them, and it was doomed from the very beginning.Even so, we can take important lessons from her story. Diana was a beautiful, amazing, inspirational woman. She was everything I imagine any man would love. And yet, she could never win the heart of Prince Charles because he had his sights set on another.It just goes to show, just because someone doesn't choose you...it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. It has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with them.Another lesson to be learned here is just how toxic and volatile a relationship with a narcissist can be. They can be hard to spot, and even more difficult to leave.That's why it's good to educate yourself on just what exactly a narcissist is, in order to help save yourself the pain and heartache.In addition, I believe Diana was an empath, and empaths are extremely vulnerable to these types of people.In summation...it is better to stay single than to allow toxic people into your life. Sometimes we don't know we have let toxic people in until much later in the game...but it's never too late. And what I think I've learned most of all is that I need people in my life who bring me peace, not drama. Joy, not heartache. Karma. StardustCreations 2023-08-04 | Well...I've never done anything like this before, and it feels quite surreal posting a video like this about something in my life. But there was no question, I felt in my spirit I had to.So, the basic story:About 2 weeks ago, this man left me a comment on one of my videos. He seemed really friendly and asked if we could email, and eventually we moved to texting...We even did a video call at one point.We seemed to have a lot in common and like we clicked. He expressed interest in me very early on and I thought he was pretty handsome, so I felt flattered at first. But it wasn't long before he started asking for things like my measurements, and asking about my underwear.I was disappointed of course because I thought this was a man genuinely interested in building something real, but those hopes were quickly dashed.He would make it sound as though I was overreacting and making a big deal when it was only "a little flirtatious fun."The thing is he would talk to me this way but then when I asked if we could have a regular phone call, for some reason in his mind that was...too fast 🤔 Apparently a standard phone call is "too intimate too soon."And the kicker for me is how he talks about how he's so busy with work and church, etc. that made him take so long to respond, but apparently still has plenty of time to go online and (admittedly) make new connections with people 😂 He also couldn't even remember basic things about me that I had said more than once.There really were so many confusing details and contradicting statements along the way that it was exhausting to try to make sense of it. Felt like quite an elaborate mind game really.All I know is I want to prevent other pure-intentioned girls from falling victim to this cad, as best I can. And I chose to upload it on this day because Thursday night is Shavuot, the commemoration of the time when Moses received the 10 Commandments and the Torah from God...I can't think of a more fitting video to celebrate and honor this holiday!In case many of you may not know, I am a believer in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), and I also observe the Jewish customs and holidays that Yeshua did during His time.
