Sydney Funnel Webs are the most dangerous spiders in the world, they are aggressive and defend their ground by flaring up and preparing to bite via two huge fangs dripping in venom. A bite from a Sydney Funnel Web can kill a small child very quickly or a adult in as little as an hour. Since the early 1980's there has been an antivenom developed as a antidote to this spiders most deadly bite. In this video I capture the spider, compare it to the male Funnel Web I found last year and then deliver the spider to the Australian Reptile Park so it can be used in their venom milking program. I find just about every other popular franchise but for some reason Thomas And Friends is missing in action. I found Bluey, Paw Patrol, Disney, Minecraft, Where's Wally, Transformers, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Peter Rabbit, My Little Pony, Peppa Pig, Avengers and so many more but Thomas The Tank is missing in action. I have noticed the Thomas All Engines Go metal engine stocks have been removed from Supermarket toy cells. This is worrying because Thomas toys use to be a staple toy in this zone for decades. But in late Summer I find that something has dug up and destroyed the Spider holes. The amount of disturbed earth looks like WW3 had happened. Woolworths Hornsby Cheating Customers Despicable Behaviour BUSTED 😡😡😡 leokimvideo 2024-04-12 | At Woolworths it's shareholder first, Customer second. A full peg of Gillette Mach3 Razor Blades with a price ticket of $21 yet scans for $28. Checkout staff wouldn't accept the photo I took of the stock at $21, suggested it was stock moved from another peg. I argued at the checkout for 5 minutes. During this time Woolworths staff remove all the product that was on the wrong peg. The front service manager then tells me it's Woolworths policy that the higher price has to be paid and if a price ticket is set in the wrong area it means nothing. To see that staff had removed the stock just added to the service managers multiple lies. I was given a total stone wall of verbal that I was in the wrong and the Gillette Mach3 Razor blades are only for sale at $28. I informed both the checkout staff and the front service manager I had photos of the Gillette Mach3 Razor Blades full on the peg with a $21 price tag and yes they both saw the photo. I also said my story will be going online and it's not going to be pretty for Woolworths. The core reason for this video is to explain the timeline of events where a simple stock placement mistake that would have only cost the store a few dollars ends up being a very despicable act to hide the mistake and then enforce that I (the customer) is in the wrong. If I was wrong why was the sock on the pegs removed and hidden so swiftly in a sneaky and deplorable way. As a customer I was devastated by the way I was treated in store and I pray the staff involved in this style of behaviour are retrained or shown the door. This is the Australian Summer 2023 cleanup and what I find this time around is amazing. Of course there is lots of Made In China rubbish and some of it isn't very old. Just incredible to find a $1000 near new Carpet Cleaner and $700 new DeWalt line trimmer. If I see items that are not made in China I focus on them. By seeing the quality of items made in Japan, made in Australia or wherever we start to understand how good older consumer goods are. In this way the rubbish piles talk to us and are hopefully indicating to us the perils of consistently buying cheap Made In China rubbish which becomes fast landfill. I find a record number of Dyson vacuum cleaners, and none of these are spring chickens. One of them was destroyed by vacuuming up plaster dust. The Summer time cleanup coincides with Christmas decorations around homes. I do look over one of the best light display houses in the suburb right on dusk even if my iPhone struggled. I notice it had no power and wasn't very old. This had me investigating this Hoover product via the Hoover QuickStick Product Reviews. From what reviewers were saying the failure point is the Lithium Ion Battery and then an inability to purchase a Hoover brand replacement battery. Sure this style of Stick Vacuum Cleaner is on the lower end of the budget scale but that's no reason to have a product made redundant because the battery fails. Anyway it's a reminder to buy a Dyson to avoid the buy cheap buy twice syndrome thats very common with cheaper made in China consumer products. Berowra New Bike Lane Study : The Chaos Has Begun : Transport For NSW Feedback leokimvideo 2024-02-07 | A new dedicated Cyclist lane has been installed on the Pacific Highway at Berowra, Sydney. It's called The Berowra Cycleway Project which was first proposed in October 2023 and became active in January 2024. It all seems like a very rushed affair. The Pacific Highway heading North at Berowra has been reduced from 3 lanes down to 2 with a dedicated Cycleway now occupying the left hand lane up to the Berowra Waters Rd intersection. In my video study of this new Berowra Cycleway I show how a left hand turn into Berowra streets from the Pacific Highway is setting up a dangerous trend with drivers doing very late turns left from the middle lane. I call these dangerous late left turns 'duck dive turns'These sudden late turns are having a knock on effect to other vehicles behind the vehicle turning left. The Berowra Cycleway has created many negative experiences for users of the Pacific Highway at Berowra and potentially setting up a more dangerous situation for Cyclists who are traversing left turn intersections on the Cycleway. I show in the video the glaring inconsistencies of Bike lanes along the Pacific Highway from Asquith heading north to Berowra. New sections of curbside that have no considerations for Cyclists at all. Yet at Berowra a total road lane is handed over for Cyclists to use. The los of this lane has impacted local residents, local businesses and large semi trucks trying to stop on the highway to grab refreshments at the 7 Eleven at Berowra. Just as I was finishing this video I was contacted by local residents about another problem where cars in the afternoon peak times are getting cut off from turning left into Berowra Waters Road because many motorists were entering the new Cycleway across the unbroken lines. They seem to now find comfort living against the metal roof well away from their normal garden homes. I also find an established Paper Wasp nest. These wasps can be very difficult to deal with and they have a very nasty sting. Paper Wasps unlike Bees can keep stinging you to protect their nest. To nail the Wasp and Wasp Nest I use a product I love called Blitzem Wasp Killer And Nest Destroyer. I also find Redback Spiders in the spider lures I have set up in the garden. The Sydney Summer for 2023 / 2024 has been very Humid & Wet. It is the 4th wet Summer in a row and maybe this is why the Redback Spiders are searching out higher ground. The pest control spray I use against the Redback Spider is a very cheap pest spray from ALDI. It seems to be very effective. Finding the Redback Spider setting up where I prepare the Cats food was not nice to find. I hope this new trend of dropping down from the roof is going to stop. I also look at the Citrus Trees a week after using a very cheap homemade Stink Bug control method to see if all the stink bugs are gone. People online were saying this simple spray has little effect of Adult Stink Bugs. The Stink Bugs you see in this video are Musgraveia Sulciventris which is a large stink bug found in Australia, sometimes known as the Bronze Orange Bug. It is considered a pest, particularly to plants in the Citrus group. Bronze Orange Bugs suck the sap from trees, which causes the flowers and fruit to fall. Thomas & Troll Friends City Toy Hunt 2023 New TWR & TOMY Takara GoGo Adult Japanese Trains 😳 leokimvideo 2023-12-23 | Just before Christmas 2023 I go to two major retailers in Sydney to Toy Hunt and inspect the Thomas & Friends stock. The Myer City store has a whole top level devoted to Toys and Hobbies. In the past Thomas And Friends had a large Thomas The Tank display area. But as I find out in 2023 Thomas has been kicked to the back of the toy department into no mans land. Thomas & Friends now has Trolls as a neighbouring brand. This was well away from the most popular toy brand which is Bluey.I did find some of the new / old Thomas Wooden Railway and purchased two Diesels at a discounted 15% off price reduction. Next I go to a famous Toy / Collectable / Hobby store called Hobbyco and it's in the Queen Victoria Building. Historically Hobbyco has been a go to place to find unusual Thomas & Friends characters, Hornby & Bachmann Thomas train sets and anything that's normally difficult to find anywhere else. I was pleased to see after a few very difficult years the Thomas Toys have returned and what was on offer was good. The AEG Metal Engine (Push Along) Thomas toys are difficult to find anywhere, but there was lots of AEG Motorized twin packs and a lot of the new / old Thomas Wooden Railway. In fact this is the first time I have seen amount of this TWR toys. As always Hobbyco was fantastic to look around, the model railway display looked amazing and the trains are is now managed by a fantastic staffer. In doing the research for this video I stumbled upon the TOMY Takara website. They hold the Asian license for the Thomas & Friends toys. Looking at TOMY's version of Thomas All Engines Go that they call Go Go Thomas revealed to me how their styling of the characters hasn't upset the size balance of their Plarail trains or track system. Looking deeper I see all the TOMY glory of how Motorized Thomas trains should be. It's all incredibly beautiful and in a way not that unchanged from the much earlier Thomas toys. This is so different Vs a company like Mattel who seem to alter the Thomas toys at any time they can.I then find on the TOMY Takara website a new higher detailed Plarail Train system called TOMY Plarail Real Class. This is a product like aimed at adults who are looking for realistic trains that can run like a toy train system. It's a very curious bend on doing model railways. A new more realistic track system has been developed that still connects to the classic TOMY Blue Plarail track system. I think it looks amazing but I can't afford it. I paid $20 for the only one left in store. I did a detailed review of this item and looked carefully at the small models in the book. I could see that this was nothing like previous My Busy Book Thomas And Friends offerings. The models were very shabby and lacking loads of the small details that are normally on My Busy Book characters. A comment left on the review pointed out that the back of the book showed incredibly well detailed models. This had me investigation the online sales photos used to promote this My Busy Book. In this video compare the amazing online photo to the small models I find in the book. The differences are ASTONISHING!But why are these Thomas All Engines Go characters done in a very sub standard way? Considering the My Busy Books in the past have presented some amazing small models for $10 how come the book thats now double the price is so incredibly disappointing. The running joke I see in the comments is the knockoff Thomas toys are better detailed Vs the licensed toys. It certainly seems that way. VINTAGE National Pana Cycle Box Fan Vs NEW KMart ANKO Box Fan FOR THE FANBOYS leokimvideo 2023-12-06 | A Box Fan comparison between a classic National Pana Cycle fan that's made in Japan Vs a cheap new KMart ANKO fan that's made in China. Both these Box Fans have moving louvers, are 30cm / 12 inch is size and both have 3 speeds. But as I start to investigate the designs of these fans I uncover a few interesting facts about power output and fan blade design. I did look at a lot of info about the Vintage Pana Cycle fan but it was difficult to pinpoint a exact era for the fan. To me it's shouting in style as something from the 70's. I did see similar Pana Cycle fans with timers said to be early 80's but info on the one I found is difficult to find. As a total distraction I do get into removing the yellowing plastic that happens of old plastic electrical goods and toys. Anyway I just hope the electric fan collectors and fanboys who love fans appreciate a dedicated video looking into the deep bunny hole of domestic fans. One night when it was raining Tabby Tom Cat was able to sneak up on Black Tom Cat. Then the BIG Cat Fight started. These two Tom Cats are both stray cats, they were always hanging around Little Cat (a stray cat who had a litter of Kittens at out home). I know Tabby Tom was with Little Cat but our neighbour saw Black Tom was also with Little cat. Has us rethinking who is the real Father of the Kittens. Social conflicts among Cats depend solely on the behavior of the cats. Some research has shown that cats rarely pick fights, but when they do, it's usually for protecting food and/or litters, and defending territory.The Kittens names are Rodney, Bao, Bubble & Teddy. Sadly Little Cat died 6 months after having this litter of Kittens and Teddy died at 11 months old. The cameras I used are the old ARLO 2 system which has free cloud data held for 7 days without subscription or membership. I'm not sure if such a deal exists with the newer ARLO products. This may explain why we had a rogue Male Funnel Web spider at our place in late Summer. This Funnel Web infestation is unusual for a number of reasons and this is exposed in this video. I grew up in a part of Sydney where these spiders were common, but i have never seen a massive infestation like the one in Berowra next to the Tennis Courts. I used a Bore Camera to look down 90 Funnel Web nests to establish what I found. Funnel Web Spider holes do look very similar to Cicada holes, especially when you see a large number of them on the ground. Funnel Web spiders disguise their homes well and amongst loose leaf litter. Funnel Web Spiders live underground in a well kept web lined spider lair. The design of their nest is very impressive and would require a major amount of earth work to complete. Funnel Web Spiders are very dangerous and deadly spiders. If you live in Australia your taught a large black ground loving Spider could be a Funnel Web. It's important to always treat these spiders as being dangerous. Funnel Web Spiders are milked of their Venom to create a Antivenom to save people after getting a Funnel Web bite. The Male Funnel Web Spiders are the most dangerous and sought after for their Venom. The reserve where I found this Spider infestation is owned by Hornsby Council. The area needs to be cleaned up as it's made more dangerous by all the fallen tree litter piled up next to the Spider infestation. A very simple way to make it uncomfortable for these spiders is to keep it clean and free of the bugs and critters they feed on. The urban myth that Bush Turkeys clear out Spiders is a myth. I prove that in this video. Stink Bug NYMPH Infestation $3 Homemade Killer Solution That Works FAST leokimvideo 2023-10-28 | Stink Bugs are a major pest on Citrus trees. A mixture of 2 Cups Hot Water, 1 Cup of White Vinegar and 1/2 Cup of Dishwashing Detergent is a cheap and effective way to kill Nymph Stink Bugs from your Citrus trees. In my experiments I find out that standard White Vinegar 4% acid content works as well as Double Strength White Vinegar 8% acid content. I was skeptical about the effectiveness of this very inexpensive insect spray until I saw how quickly it was able to disable Nymph Stink Bugs in very short time. The ideas online of using Vacuum Cleaners, Hair Spray and just Water will not solve the underlying infection problem. Sure a Flame Thrower will work but then I will lose all the developing fruit on the tree. The Nymph Stink Bugs you see in this video are Musgraveia Sulciventris which is a large stink bug found in Australia, sometimes known as the Bronze Orange Bug. It is considered a pest, particularly to plants in the citrus group. Bronze Orange Bugs suck the sap from trees, which causes the flowers and fruit to fall. I investigate this lawn mower looking at wear and tear and ponder why is it thrown out only a few years after being made. On inspection this lawn mower has very little signs of being used BUT I can see it's been up against wet grass. In fact this lawn mower in it's short life was always up against wet grass because of the 'wet years' that followed 2019 in Sydney. This ALDI lawn mower is marked as a November 2019 build, 1600W 240V electric motor and in Australia comes with a 1 Year Warranty. It was sold in ALDI Australia for $99, at that price possibly the cheapest electric lawn mower available on in the market. Wow what a bargain!I look at the Product Review website and this model of mower is listed. It doesn't rank very well. There seems to be a design flaw in the drive system to the blades. Redback Spider Roundup RIP Teddy & Wingless Wasp Spring Equinox EDUCATIONAL VIDEO leokimvideo 2023-09-30 | On the Australian Spring Equinox in 2023 I do a Redback Spider roundup looking at all the spider lures in the garden for Redback Spiders. This time sadly Teddy is not around. He passed away in late March aged only 11 months old. Teddy is buried next to his Mum Little Cat. It was a really sad time after Teddy was gone, I didn't make a video for 6 months so this video is very much a catch up of multiple things.We had a prowler at our home caught on camera. Dealing with the Police in relation to this was very interesting indeed. I did set up 2 new spider lures and had a lot of Dyson vacuum cleaners found in the Winter curbside cleanup. I also found a interesting Box Fan that's made in Japan, possibly classic late 70's era. But one of the most amazing finds was a Ozito 1500W EcoMow. This mains powered lawn mower is surprisingly powerful and can cut through the longest grass without hesitation. I go into the review area to talk collectable toys, Barbie film Hot Wheels, Disney Pixar Cars Lightning McQueen, especially the Disney 100 collection. I show some curious Thomas The Tanks AEG style and also some Dark Side toys that I just purchased. I also explain how there is one last segment to the KMart 'stock reduction' videos and how after a long time the problems were being resolved. We have had a fairly bad rat problem that developed over Winter. It had me having to use a second generation rat bait that claimed to kill in 3 to 5 days. This bait needs to be in bait stations and from what I could see on the Arlo security cameras this bait is very effective in pulling down a very established population of rodents. I look carefully at the Citrus trees in the backyard and explain how treating them rough can be a very good way to bring out their best. And of course the flamethrower comes out to tidy up any Wasps and suspicious spider webs I find. Bubble (Little Cats Kitten) does help along the way and in this video she is 1.5 years old. My Dyson NEVER DID THIS! Vax Compact Power Carpet Washer / Hoover PowerDash Pet After 8 Months 🤮 leokimvideo 2023-03-29 | A look into the mysterious realm of Carpet Vacuum Shampoo machines where prices vary a lot, and sales jargon supports a high price. After a lucky find at Bunnings Hardware I found a Vax Compact Power Carpet Washer for $173 AUD. I had already investigated the price of a Hoover PowerDash Pet on Amazon and it varied between $87 - $100 USD with a huge $113 USD shipping fee. So I looked on Amazon Australia and the price was a whopping $550 AUD. This started to expose to me the mysterious price drift in the Carpet Shampoo Vacuum marketplace. I only became aware of the Hoover PowerDash Pet via a simple review on NewBeanMeister22 channel. I thought my carpets were very clean, the Dyson V8 stick vacuum does a really good job. But once I put the Vax Compact Power Carpet Washer over our 3 carpets I was astonished how much filth it was able to remove from the carpets. The water collection tank had black gunk with pet & carpet lint.This machine is a compact style model which holds 1lt of fluid. I had to do 3 resets of the machine to clean our carpets. It's a very easy machine to clean out and reset. The amount of cleaning fluid required is minimal. I have owned Vax Compact Power Carpet Washer for 8 months and each time I clean the carpets I notice the amount of gunk lifted from the carpet is less. In the strangest way I did find a Bissell Redi Clean PowerBrush Pet thrown out as rubbish. This Carpet Shampooer looked to be in very good condition and isn't very old. I took it home and find that it stills works. I will investigate this at some point in the future.Carpet Vacuum Shampoo machines are something you wouldn't use weekly. This smaller style of Vacuum is suited for high traffic areas and isolated stains. But doing a bigger job can be done if your prepared to keep refilling the water tank and emptying out the dirty water. There is a small filter that's easy to clean out and removing hair and carpet fibre from the roller is not difficult. And maybe the secret to keeping these styles of machines working is to keep on top of the dirt and hair that can get trapped around the roller. I'm very happy with my Vax Compact Power Carpet Washer more so because I paid $173 for it and not the $550 that was being asked on Amazon for the Hoover Powerdash Pet which is an identical Carpet Shampooer. Spider Tank 3 has started off with 3 Redback spider egg sacs from Barbie the Redback Spider. I do add more Redback spider egg sacs along the way. I also find a Black House spiders egg sac to add to the Redback spider tank to spice it up at episode 5. This episode reveals just how few spiders remain in Spider Tank 3, I look at the biggest spiders (that are still very small) through the Borescope camera. There is a dominate Male Redback spider that is possibly 3 months old considering it's maturity (Males only live for 6 to 7 months). It's this Male spider that in this episode shows off all the necessary skills to survive in a glass box full of spiders. To draw focus on the last remaining spiders I add a Cricket feast to understand exactly who is left in Spider Tank 3. This episode marks the 3 month point of the Spider Tank. It covers January 15 to January 25.This spider study will be done in parts and not weeks. Thomas Wooden Railway Thomas The Tank FINALLY FOUND 🤯 leokimvideo 2023-03-17 | OMG I finally found the NEW SPANKY Thomas Wooden Railway Thomas The Tank and NEW TWR Playsets. TOYMATE had the stock in store and I have been searching for this 2021 Thomas toy for 2 years now. This new Thomas TWR now uses classic wooden railway track connectors. All the dumb ideas that were present in Thomas Wood both painted and unpainted have been stamped out. The new Thomas Wooden Railway is a premium high quality toy / collectable. It oozes quality, class and collectability, it does not disappoint BUT it comes at a high price. Now I can finally see how beautiful this new TWR Thomas is it has me wondering why did Mattel dump the classic TWR and develop Thomas Wood. What was the main driving force to make this change. I have looked over Thomas & Friends toys for many years and constant change is very much part of the fabric of this toy. But the stripping down, downsizing and misfit track connectors of Thomas Wood showed everyone that even the greatest minds in the toy industry make huge mistakes. But was it really a mistake? Or just part of the game of change for change sake.I also show a scene that was not in my video about the trashed Hot Wheels stock that was on the pegs being sold for full price. This damaged / soiled stock was scanning at $2. Some people suggested this stock would scan at a reduced price. Sadly no, it was full price at the scanners. Kmart Shoplifting Study 5 Days Of Stock Taking Madness & Ideas To Solve This Problem 🥰 leokimvideo 2023-03-16 | Kmart slogan is Lower Prices For Life, but sadly my local Kmart has a huge 'stock reduction' problem. This is a 5 day study of what's moving out of store but this time I visit the store in the quiet times of day. It reveals a disturbing repeated trend of the same activity in the same areas over and over on a daily basis. Of course Hot Wheels car packs are a very popular pick, but so is Pokemon Cards, Cosmetics, Clothing, Electronics, Smartphone Accessories, Pet supplies, Collectable Toys, Stationary and basically just about anything in store. This time around I point out what I feel are the weaknesses in store design and some really simple things that could be done to add tamper proofing to all ANCO stock lines. I'm starting to understand the times that the stock in store is being manipulated. I certainly understand the places in store as it's been the same spots over and over for almost a year now. When I find stolen or manipulated stock I take it to the back of store so staff can set it up as 'mark down' specials. But even doing this does not stop the nasty thieves from picking off more stock. The weakness of the 'wire spider' system can be seen in this video. I do look at the Pokemon stock on day one and again on day five. It's amazing what I see. I show how Pokemon stock is displayed in a neighbouring Kmart. The ANKO brand is a in house Kmart brand that means 'A New Kind Of' which was set up from 2008. Kmart is a fantastic place to shop, amazing prices always but it makes me really sad to see how just a few people cheat the system. There is new AI technology creeping into retail that can assist in shoplifting problems and understand customers identity but privacy advocates are strongly against this technology. In 2013, Kmart began a roll-out of new store layouts. Garden plant sections were removed, and back of store areas were cut back. There was an expansion of floorspace to stock and an increase in the height of displays. The stores were given a more 'Department Store' feel with front of shop checkouts replaced with an area for non-self serve customers to pay at in the centre of the store. This new layout is I believe a huge factor in the problem I see going on. Thomas Cargo Raceway Set TM2 Vs TM-AEG Mystery & Toy Hunting Thomas Wooden Railway 😡 FRUSTRATING 😡 leokimvideo 2023-03-08 | I go on a toy hunting search in Sydney looking for the new style Thomas Wooden Railway toys in two of the major toy & hobby stores. Both these stores use to have an amazing range of Thomas & Friends stock, trains, playsets whatever. But it seems we now live in very different times. At one store I noticed a new Thomas All Engines Go motorised playset that looks awesome. It's the Thomas & Kana Cargo Race, big playset with a big price of $200. These is no way I would pay that for this playset. When I got home I had a look at a Thomas Trackmaster 2 playset I purchased 18 months earlier and it looks like the exact same set but it's half the price. It is called Thomas and Percy Cargo Race. When I started to investigate how one set has over 90 pieces yet the other only has 75 pieces yet the two playsets look identical it blew up my mind. One thing that is being exposed is the huge price jump in the Thomas toys in Australian retailers. A playset like this in my mind is only worth $100 and not a cent more. I'm pretty sure in the USA these playsets are sold for $60 USD to $80 USD. Anyway while I was in the beautiful empty toy department I did stumble upon an incredible Hot Wheels Mario Kart playset. It's called the Mario Kart Rainbow Road. It's BIG, it's COLOURFUL and it's shouting out AWESOME. This set had no batteries installed but I could see it was quite tricky, a very clever random element is set up on part of the track that ensures the winner will be as chaotic as the real Mario Kart game. There was a Mario & Luigi Kart there and I had a 'secret play'. From that I worked out this is a absolute buy. It's just so sad I can't do detailed toy reviews as I use to do on YouTube, the busted AI here has destroyed my channel. If a video has any elements that is seen as entertaining kids I get smacked down, the video will die and it's impossible it earn back the cost of the toy via the video. In fact it's impossible to do that on anything now. I do wonder why is a major toy company having so much trouble supplying the premium new Thomas Wooden Railway toys. You can't make a cent when you can't supply the product. Or is the choke point the retail buyers who are being very selective in what's seen in store. This is the first of two Cat Fights I caught on Arlo security camera. Maybe what's most interesting here is the amount of Yowling or Caterwauling (Tom Cat Talking) before the Cat Fight. It was a huge mess, cat food everywhere, cat fur all over the place. It made Little Cat & Fluffy Cat very confused to see such a mess. A yowl is a long, drawn-out meow that indicates worry, discomfort, territorial concerns, or mating issues. If your cat is continuously yowling, there may be a medical problem that warrants a visit to your vet. Redback Spider Roundup Funnel Web Spider Found February 2023 Horror Show EDUCATIONAL VIDEO leokimvideo 2023-03-01 | On the last day of Summer I do a Redback Spider roundup looking at all the spider lures in the garden. It's incredible what I find! This is the third wet Summer we have had in a row and something is messing around with the spiders. I also find a Sydney Funnel Web Spider. This is the most deadly spider in the world and it's the first Funnel Web I have found at my home. It's a Male Funnel Web and maybe with all the humidity and bad weather it's wandered into the suburb looking for a mate. I can't find any Funnel Web nests at my home so I travel 15km to a park in Sydney where I played as a teenager. I remember this park was a honey pot for Funnel Web Spider and 45 years on the Funnel Webs are still there. It lets me show you the Funnel Web nests, their size and how they are disguised with leaved woven into the entrance of the Funnel Webs lair. Using my iPhone I get some pictures that show a Funnel Web in it's nest. The park I remember as a kid looks so different now, so many new established trees and the old trees look really old now. We have a new backyard friend now ripping up the lawns and garden and it's called a Bandicoot. These weird Australian nocturnal animals seem to eat anything. And what's amazing is they will dig up and eat Funnel Web Spiders. I can't help but think there is a connection between the Funnel Web Spider and Bandicoot who may have given the Funnel Web Spider a very hard time. I do find a Redback Spider and deal with some Stink Bugs. It's incredible what a little bit of flamethrower does when tidying up pests in the backyard. Stink Bugs 1000 FPS Flamethrower 🔥 Sony RX100 Amazing Potato Cam 🔥 leokimvideo 2023-02-25 | I'm still getting Stink Bugs on the Citrus trees and I know the ultimate control method is a quick lick of fire from my flamethrower. This time around I drag out a Sony RX100-4 (2015 era) and set it to 1000fps slow motion. There are two priority modes when shooting high frame rate, one is Shoot Time Priority (3 sec burst) the other is Quality Priority (1.5 second burst). Considering the work I was doing has a duration of over 1.5 seconds I had to use Shoot Time Priority. Sure we get 1000 fps slow motion but as raw video is looks like it's shot by a potato camera at 1080p. In Adobe Premiere Creative Cloud I use Lumetri Colour (Auto correct) and Unsharp Mask custom settings to make a Potato look like a Lemon. I was going to invest in a AI video tools to re render the whole video but as it stands the price and redner times of these tools are outlandish. Anyway seeing the effect of the flamethrower on the ganden pest Stink Bugs is almost surreal. This event in real time happens in a few seconds but when seen in slow motion a totally new perspective is revealed. Especially the way the stink Bugs spray their defensive stink spray. I had recently done a very complicated video of related to the effect of detergent Vs fire on the Stink Bugs eggs that are laid under the citrus tree leaves. I learned lots by studying the effect of the eggs and seeing which eggs hatched Nymph Stink Bugs. My little study confirmed to be why my unconventional method is the best for controlling a Stink Bug infestation that can render a Citrus tree fruitless. One is a Ozito ELM 1536 1500w 2019, the other is a Ozito ELM EcoMow 1400w 2017 era. Both mowers are had failures, both showed varied amount of use when looking at the cutting blade damage. The owner of the Ozito ELM 1536 1500w 2019 lawn mower explained how it failed. Considering the mower was being thrown out in 2022 it's not very old and showed very little wear and tear. It's failure point is something that's unusual. I was very curious what the Product Review website said about these cheap electric lawnmowers and this let me understand how today's consumers love to buy something made in China that cheap, has a 3 year warranty and if it fails you just buy another cheap lawnmower. The idea of a quality built item that could last 10 years is not part of the equation. Buying spare parts is also a joke. Yes some models have a replacement cutting blade but it's a 'special order' and expensive Vs the total cost of a lawnmower. The new set is now Thomas AEG styled and radically different in multiple ways. Gone from 60 PLUS pieces to now 42. The price has jumped up from $29 to $39 at Kmart Australia. (There were some sneaky price rises on the old style set during 2022). I will be investigating what's gone on here, lots of change BUT WHY. I also find my very valuable & collectable 2014 70th Anniversary GOLD Take N Play Thomas completely smashed to 1000 pieces. This is a little Thomas toy that's pulling huge prices on eBay and other online sites. Maybe now mine is totally trashed it's going to be worth a lot more money. Mac Studio Dust Sucked Up In 3 Months & Simple Fix 🥳 Keyboard & Mouse Fail Designs 🤯 leokimvideo 2023-02-11 | I purchased an Apple Mac Studio in 2022, it took 3 months to be delivered and I have used it for 3 months. I knews from my previous iMac that dust ingestion can build up over time. The Mac Studio with it's BIG M1 ULTRA chips and super computer ability needs incredible cooling. Much of the Mac Studio height is hiding two huge cooling fans and heatsink that exhaust to the rear. The air intake is under the computer which to me seems really weird. When my Mac Studio arrived one of the first things I did was make a simple custom dust filter to snuggle under the computer around the air intake. What has been a big surprise is how much dust my Mac Studio has collected in my custom filter. In fact it's a tad scary. In the video I look at filter material options and make another simple filter. Of course do this at your own risk as it is changing the airflow design of the Mac Studio. But my biggest concern is what happens if all this dust is allowed to collect and coat the inside of the Mac Studio and clog the cooling fans. I could see that going on with my 8 year old iMac at the 6 year point. Apple make amazing gear most of the time, but there are some designs that are not so amazing. I look at the Keyboard & Mouse that come with my Mac Studio. Yeah amazing in all the wrong ways. They have a passion for bringing in into the house gifts from the garden. Cats are strange and amazing pets, and there is no better way to says "I love you" like a string of gift giving with Lizards, Cicadas and Frogs. The garden critters are all alive and well and require a rescue from the house.Bubble & Teddy are just showing their love over and over. This video is just a fraction of what's brought into the house, most times its the small garden skinks. And from this activity it's given me an insight into the huge numbers of lizards and skinks around out house. Fluffy was never like this. She watches this going on every day. What's really strange about this Summer is the lack of Spiders & Wasps that are normally all around the house. No Redbacks, no Garden Orbs, no Mud Dauber Wasps, no St Andrews Cross spiders and not many Black house Spiders. It's the same items, in the same areas over and over. In fact from what I find a pretty good profile of who is doing this becomes clear. Pokemon Cards, Collectable Toys, Phone accessories & Cosmetics are always on the free shopping list. For some reason this Kmart is attracting the wrong styles of people, this problem has flared up during 2022 and continues into 2023. I look at the Hot Wheels area and find that the wire spider security devices can be defeated without being taken off. Thankfully the Hot Wheels 20 Packs have the wire spiders back on but there are still signs of problems here. I did bump into a Hot Wheels collector and we spoke about the little 1966 Styled Batman car. He informed me it's can be sound as a Super Treasure Hunt. At my local stores I was watching the Thomas & Friends stock in the lead up to Christmas. Of course it was the first Christmas where the new redesigned All Engines Go format of Thomas toys were available. They seemed to be very sluggish selling and what I find after Christmas sums up what is possibly a softening of interest in the Thomas brand in All Engines Go format. Normally after Christmas the Thomas toys get sold out. From what I can see Bluey is the most popular if you gauge popularity by whats sold out. I was unable to find the Hot Wheels Monster Truck Thomas that's pulling very high prices on eBay. I am also unable to find the new Thomas Wooden Railway in any store. In my toy hunting I do purchase a old Thomas Wood destination playset as it was the last set. This adult toy collecting review looks carefully over the Trackmaster 3 AEG Secret Agent Thomas, because the packaging has no details as to why Thomas is a Secret Agent I had to watch part of the Thomas AEG episode related to the toy. What is delivered is only part of the 'dress up' thats seen in the episode. The Thomas hasa cool transparent body with what looks like oversized printed circuits in the transparent plastic. These are obvious missed opportunities going on here. There are two red / blue flatcars. One has a large yellow duck, the other has a large cover that can be put over the large duck is if desired. It's a very eye catching Thomas 3 Pack, it could be a great toy investment because it is so unusual. The Thomas toys on the eBay reselling marketplace can get very silly at times. I do find a retailer who has the Thomas Wooden Railway toys at what I feel is the right price for Australia BUT this retailer is in another state. Many of the toys are for sale as 'in store' only. Looking online I see the Special Edition Gold Thomas 2013 is pulling even higher prices, a stupid high of nearly $200. for what was a $10 toy in store. I do find a Thomas AEG Gold Thomas and I compare it to the 70th Anniversary Gold Thomas. As for why there is a Gold AEG Thomas is a mystery to me. Kmart Shoplifting Nightmare Before Christmas I Give Up Saving Hot Wheels 20 Packs 😡 leokimvideo 2022-12-23 | All during 2022 I watched my local Kmart having issues with stock stolen from store. The Hot Wheels 20 Packs were being broken into as soon as they hit the shelves. I was able to get a 'wire spider' security device on the stock late in 2022 but sadly the new stock has no protection. I have focused on the shoplifting problems in a number of videos and I can see a repeated pattern of activity going on. It really feels like the same individual manipulating stock in the same areas over and over. This Kmart did deploy lots of 'wire spiders' on all sorts of stock but often thats a reactive measure once a particular item is being stolen. The thieves just move onto the next easy to grab item. Sadly this seems to be the 'new norm' and how my local Kmart works now. I was curious why this amazing looking vacuum cleaner was trashed even though it's still working. This Kogan Stick Vac looked very much like a Dyson. The accessories, shape, clear dust bin and bright colours are all hallmarks of Dyson designs. But once I investigate how this very cheap Kogan T7 Stick Vacuum is designed and how it manages very fine dust I started to understand why this vacuum cleaner is being thrown out. It just enforced in my mind why you only ever buy a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Via my old Dyson V8 Stick Vacuum I demonstrate how it captures and manages very fine dust that seems to be the undoing of any vacuum cleaner that's not a Dyson.Looking at the later Kogan Stick Vacuum (verson11) they do look very impressive Vs the price. This lawn Mower seems to have done more work vs the previous one BUT it's still within warranty and thrown out.
