Overall i am quite happy with the project itself. The Vale Guardian record has always been a very prestigious one to hold as its the first raid boss to ever be released. Additionally the prior record by quantify has been standing for a over 4 years and was untouchable for the most time. The execution of my pov is as clean as it should've been. Furthermore during this grind, which took about 10 days of raiding especially towards the end got a feeling that if the stars align a 1:34 is definitely possible, but we are satisfied enough to move on to other projects.Phase 1: I camped in the shroud for longer than the optimal DPS rotation would call for. This is to ensure the barrier hitting right before the green to ensure healthyness of the group in the split phase to make use of writs. I can get away with not optimising the initiative, because once a threshold of damage by the supports is met, the phase time itself is gated by the 3rd dragon trigger of the bladesworns anyway. Making any additional damage unnecessary. For splits we stacked up alacrity as 100% alacrity is mandatory for all cooldowns to line up on the bladesworns. After that i attacked my firebrand to stack up rot wallow venom, gaining a bit more damage on the guardian. We had a thief guild in each split to have one more target for thief poisons and firebrand ashes. Additionally we ran pistols with paralyzation sigil to ensure a quick breakbar. Towards the end i foodswapped to gain 200 additional condition damage for 30s after the guardian dies. The buffs stays after swapping back to normal food. Phase 2: The food swap from all players allowed us to have the specter skip their poison and still meet the damage threshhold. Using the poison phase 2 wouldn't allow for it to be up again in the split which is the more important part of the fight. The scepter/pistol skill is used to dodge the blues, but it also applies immobilize which through a trait applies poison. Again the shroud is timed to line up with the green explosion generating full 50% barrier on everyone. I did steal on cooldown because muscle memory kicked in.In the second split our damage was a bit low, because we were missing writ uptime (and definitely not because of me standing inside the seeker, leaving shroud early and then casting useless scepter 2 skills) and therefore our cc was mistimed. This was the biggest error we had in this kill. costing us around .7 seconds.Phase 3: Shouldve gone out of shroud earlier or go into it later to cast the Skale Venom on Cooldown but in the end mostly the dragon slashes mattered anyway.

You can weapon swap freely since you dont need an offhand on Matthias. On Adina where you want the Boonstrip from Dagger I would recommend Transference over Renewal.- Skills -Besides Regeneration and your Sigils your best healing sustain is shadowstepping thanks to wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shadow_Savior an easy way to trigger it is just spamming Sword 2 or Shadowstap (the utility skill). You can heal your group with Skelk Venom and Shadow refuge too but since both skill have a relative high cooldown you should keep them for clutch situations. If you need CC you can spam Pistol4 and take a different Elite Skill (Basi Venom or Uppercut).Thief Guild was taken as DPS increase since the Chronos had CC covered. The Shadow Portal is taken for the first corruption. If you cannot make use of it take Infiltrator's Signet.- Traits -Acrobatics and Deadly Arts is mostly copied from: snowcrows.com/raids/builds/thief/thief/boon/. Mug and Pain Response are taken for better self heal+DPS and to occasionally trigger monk runes.Shadow Arts is only taken for Shadow Savior which is just very important. - Rotation - It's a healer, there is no fix rotation. Use your burst heals (Utilitys, Skelk Venom, Sword 2 spam, Shadowstep) before and after incoming pressure. Use Sword 3 over Dodges to get evades (when the F1 cooldown is at ~20s) and keep in mind that the AOEs sometimes tick in a way that you can dodge but not evade (like this: youtu.be/WqCXU0uc7A4) which leads to no reset of Steal. Use the rest of your initiative for Sword 2 shadowstepping and keep Weapon Swap on cooldown.
