This benchmark uses meaty asparagus (torment duration food).

This version is with the Jade Core Level 10.

Nightmare or Tormenting Runes?
I achieved very similar numbers with tormenting runes. Cant really tell you whats better because I didnt do the math here but it appears that nightmare runes + meaty asparagus food is the best. (Will update when this changes)

The rotation is very straight forward and easy, once you understand why you are doing what. Here are some tips I can give to you:

The precasted elixer´s blight does not get removed when you enter combat, that means you can precast it in every situation. The blight remains for 25 seconds and You consume those stacks in less than 10 seconds in your opener, so you can start precasting your elixers very early.

The opener focuses on applying your main dmg source which is torment. Overall you enter shroud almost off cooldown which allows for a high uptime of soul barbs.

Pistol2 and Scepter3 grant life force and is your priority when you cant stick to the rotation because of short boss phases or multiple enemy targets.

Make sure to hit the boss and yourself with the elixers so you apply the conditions and the blight to yourself. Prioritize the blight on yourself tho.

Dagger4 transfers conditions from blood is power and plaguelands to your target. If you know your conditions are about to get stripped, skip dagger4 since it does not do any important dmg.

Shroud1 is similar to axe1 on Necro. That means you will always have 2 hits. Make sure to not interrupt your second hit of your autoattack "chain".

In the next clip Eren Jäger suddenly realizes how weak he is and unleashes his power.

Buy spamming any pet ability you can basicly autoattack with your Pet. But if you spam it too fast you interrupt the autoattack. This is obviously a bug and is going to get fixed, I hope. Its fun tho.

Many bad plays here. Im still happy with our first dungeon speedclear. We did this in one evening so a few seconds can still be grinded out with this strat. I changed the rotation so you enter F1 tome earlier than before. Before it felt very bad to delay F1 tome in actual raids.

Generell advice:
- Dont spam autoattacks because you lose the second hit of the autoattacks.
- Always finish your autoattack chain.
- You can close F1 tome manually during a skill cast without interrupting the skill. Weaponswap can still cancel your skills.
- Keep track of your torch4. Always try to use both torch4 procs after another.

This bench was done with Trappers Expertise, Spotter and Oppressive Superiority. Soulbeast recieved some nerfs from the May 11th patch and gained some buffs on May 25th. One of those being the OWP cooldown got increased. This hits the Soulbeast benchmark very hard since you end on a very bad spot of your rotation. Thats why the Soulbeast benchmark seems to be very low.
However Soulbeast still has a decent burst and the OWP dmg it provides to the group via Leader of the pack stays the same and is still incredibly strong.

Why not bench with sharpened edges and hidden barbs? Those 2 traits increase the Soulbeasts Dps on the golem by about 300-500 depending on Rng. This does not prevent the golem to end on a bad spot. You still end up doing autoattacks until it dies. However on the most encounters you can take sharpened edges if the phases do not desync your frosttrap too much and if you are fine adapting.

By changing the rotation, you can end up on your burst so the last number is higher, but keep in mind that a rotation only for the golem is not practicable in a raid scenario, thats why i choose to go with a more practicable rotation. If the golem would die at the peak of the Soulbeasts burst, the number would be 37k+, which is about the average of other Dps classes after the patch.

What does that mean for the Power Soulbeast?

Power Soulbeast still has one of the highest bursts in the game and the utility it can offer for the squad makes it a very viable choice for raids.

That being said, POWER SOULBEAST IS NOT DEAD.

When is hybrid soulbeast better than the power and condi version?

Hybrid Soulbeast offers a strong burst and decent sustained dps through out the fight. If playing with Bristleback, F1 gets stronger if enemys are surrounding the boss. This way you can get more hits out of F1 if you use it in its hitbox. Therefor encounters with mobs like Sabetha and Xera are decent bosses for the hybrid soulbeast. If you want to take some cc, play Warthog instead of Bristleback.

If you consider taking a spirit to help out your druid. Drop sic´em. The dps you lose by not taking sic´e m is 1k on the golem.

I changed the rotation in order to utilize One Wolf Pack better. This way you get more OWP hits since Greatsword has no ticking abilities and is also slower compared to Longbow. Greatsword is a little bit more flexible and offers better sustained dps.

When to use greatsword instead of longbow?
This is a personal preference. Both weapons work perfectly fine in raids, but the impact changes depending on the phase timings. If the boss phases raid before your second longbow burst, greatsword will outperform due to its sustained dmg. If the phases are short and you wont fit more than one burst in, longbow is stronger because of its burst potential.

Greatsword works surprisingly well for Firebrand. It offers many hits to proc F1 and aligns very well with the rotation. You still lose 4 torch4 throws and it also desyncs. This is not going to be as strong in a raid encounter since greatsword2 utilizes a fire field to get burning bolts.

"Yes I used Axe3."

The idea of this rotation is to stay longer on scepter because you have the double bursting sigils on this weapon set. I also wanted to make sure that Torche4 alines with the rotation in order to use it twice in a row. To achieve that I had to use Axe3 as a filler after using Axe2 the first time after switching to Axe.
This way the rotation becomes smoother, faster and results in better dps. The end number can be easily grinded up to 37,2k with a little bit of rng.

If you want to bring an allie, make sure the allie has no gear and no traits equipped. Let him take a white sword so he does as little dps as possible. There is a specific sword in the trading post, that has very little damage stats. The Allie uses sword3 and mirror images and keeps autoattacking through the entire benchmark.

After every Breakbar, Samarog turns either to the tank to do the "Claw" (names taken from arcdps) attack or turns to another person and does "Prisoners Sweep". That happens in a particular order. So after the first Breakbar he turned to me 95% of the time (pls explain if someone knows exactly why) and i basicly baited the "Prisoners Sweep" to a specific direction so everybody could position. This also happens in Phase 2.

The goal in Phase 3 was to let the Soulbeast get sacrificed at 10% since he cant fit in his burstrotation anymore. Very unlucky that I got the Fixation after the first Breakbar. In that case i had to gg at 20%. The group does not suffer too much from the Soulbeast getting sacrificed at 10% since the Spotter buff is applied for 9 seconds just like the frost spirit buff even after the Soulbeast dies.

I grinded this a little bit more but i just cant hit 38,3k. I guess this will have to do.

I wanted to make a Greatsword benchmark for the current patch (-50 power) and see how far i can get.
This rotation has heavy rng factor which makes it very annoying to grind. For this bench i took "Sharpened Edges" and "Hidden Barbs". I like taking "Sharpened Edges" for the extra bleeding and just play around the Frosttrap cooldown. In the last burst i had to use "Frenzied Attack" before "Frosttrap" so i dont lose time during the burst.

I used the same gear as you will use for Longbow Soulbeast. Full Berserkers and Scholar Runes. Take a Greatsword with Force and Impact and dont forget to take the "Two-Handed-Training" trait in your beastmastery traitline.
