The VFD is a Sourcetronic ST 500 400v 1,5kW for the 1kW motor. It's not sponsored, and I paid about 260€ for it. You can get much cheaper ones, but I had a bad experience with one of them and decided that investing a bit more into a quality one made in Germany is a good idea. I have no regrets.
Same with bearings and belt, which I got for 60€ total. I used cheap bearings for different projects, and they broke way too early. This nice drill press deserves nice hardware, so I went with SKF bearings.

This is not interesting for a video, but here's an update on all the progress. In addition, I have quite a few projects in mind, which I'm presenting as well. I think restoring the two old machines I got from my grandpa will be interesting. Looking at well-built machines that are over 50 years old is fascinating to me.
On the other hand, it's also fascinating to do projects with today's "high-tech" like the automatic tool changer for the CNC router. I'm able to afford the components because of your support. Thank you, everybody!

For some time now, I had a surfacing bit with carbide inserts and an 8mm shaft, which is a common standard size for router bits in the EU. I quite like it, and the manufacturer of it is Fraiser. So I had a look at their website and found some other bits for the CNC router that seemed to be very promising. And they also have an affiliate program. So I contacted them and asked for a few router bits. And in exchange for this video, they sent them to me. So yes, this was a sponsored video. Instead of a project, I first wanted to push the bits and my CNC machine to the limit. Also, I wanted to have cutting data that were made on my machine. For the future, that means I never have to guess what cut settings I need to use. I can just look them up. And that's what I did in this video.

This is the second part of the bandsaw upgrades. In this one, I'm installing a variable frequency drive that didn't go as planned. But the end result is better than expected.

In this video, I show how I automated my dust collection for the CNC-router with a relay. The relay is controlled with the software by using the M8 code that normally is used for flood cooling. But since my machine will never have flood cooling I can use it for dust collection.

With the new CNC Spoildbaord construction done, it's time to glue on the MDF top surface. To get it perfectly flat it needs a spindle that is aligned to the machine bed. In this video, I show how I did that.

I upgraded my audio setup on my camera. I lav-mic was never really an option for me because a loose cable on your body in the workshop is a bad idea. But with this all in one kit from RODE I can't say no any longer. I think it sounds a lot better.
