4) Then we prepared galinstan by heating together solid metals gallium (68%), tin (22%) and indium (10%). While gallium melts at 29.8 °C, Galinstan is even liquid at −19 °C. It can be spread onto a glass to make a mirror. Gallium and galinstan form an alloy with aluminum and this alloy reacts with water releasing hydrogen. So it can be used to store energy - aluminium and water on board of a hydrogen fuel cell car can make several times more hydrogen than high pressure hydrogen balloons could possibly accommodate and it is safer as well. 2Al(xGa) + 6H2O = 2Al(OH)3 + xGa + 3H2

You need permanganate (from drugstore, common disinfectant), sodium hydroxide (sewage cleaning liquid), sulfuric acid (from old lead-acid battery), aluminum wire, and inert electrode, such as graphite, carbon fiber rod (from an old drone), or nickel wire. This battery gives 3-times higher voltage and 10-times higher current density than a usual lemon-zinc-copper battery. Can you beat my experiment - it gives a world record cell voltage for a homemade battery (except Li-ion or other non-aqueous batteries that cannot be made at home).Note that a single element with pure Al wire gives upto 3.25 V, when 5 are connected in series, it would give 16V. How the electricity is generated? Maximum voltage is up to 930 mV, maximum short-circuit current density is 13 mA. There are two nanoporous carbon electrodes: one is placed at the bottom (anode), the other is placed at the top (cathode). Oxygen can access to the cathode, whereas there is anaerobic (oxygen free) medium around anode, where bacteria work hard. Several bacteria may contribute, for example Escherichia coli can release some compounds through its outer cell membrane, which oxidize at anode. Shewanella putrefaciens and Geobacter may attach onto the carbon and directly give away electrons. Approximate electricity production reaction is the following: cathode: O2 + 4 H+ + 4 e− = 2 H2O anode (where (CH2O)n is a hydrocarbon): (CH2O)n + n H2O − 4n e− = n CO2↑ + 4n H+

Yellow-green color light was obtained with a 1-chloro-9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene as a dye. Red color was obtained by Rhodamine B. Blue color was obtained by 9,10-diphenylanthracene. Orange color was obtained by 5,12-bis(phenylethynyl) naphthacene.
Finally, a common glow-worm was filmed in nature. The yellow-green color of the glow-worm was caused by the oxidation of luciferin.
