The Great Controversy | What Will You Choose Today?

This battle did not begin without reason. Scripture reveals a rebellion that started in heaven, where lies were introduced and hearts turned away from the truth. And from that moment until now, this great controversy has persisted.

Yet the story does not end in uncertainty. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus overcame sin and exposed the lies of Satan.

Today, the controversy still continues in a very personal way - in us. Every day, every choice becomes a reflection of where our loyalty lies: to live for truth and die to self, or to live for self and ultimately lose what truly matters.

Is it just another religious rule…
or is it part of something much deeper?

James 2:10 says that if we keep the whole law but stumble in one point, we are guilty of all.

That means God’s commandments are not something we pick and choose.
The same God who said, “Do not kill,” also said, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”

And Jesus said in John 14:15,
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

We don’t keep the Sabbath to earn salvation.
We keep it because we love the Saviour who first loved us.

And friends, the Sabbath is more than a day.
It is a sign of loyalty, rest, relationship, and redemption.

It reminds us that God is our Creator, our Redeemer, and the One worthy of our worship.
So the real question is not just,
“Do I have to keep the Sabbath?”

The deeper question is,
“Do I love Jesus enough to follow what He asked?”

The Sabbath is not a burden.
It is a blessing.
