1 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Egg
1/4 Tsp Lemon Zest

Add the egg mixture and beat until fully combined. Then add the flour mixture and beat it until its a dough. At this point, you can knead the dough to fully incorporate it, and make it into a smooth cookie dough. Refrigerate for 4-6 hrs. When making cookies, cut them with cookie cutters, place them on your cookie sheet, and put the sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes. This allows the cookie to freeze a little, so that it keeps its shape. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 mins.

Make sure it is 1/8 inch thick. Make your brown butter by melting butter in a pan until it is amber in color and has a caramel smell. Once the butter is cooled down, spread it onto the dough, and then cover it with 1/4 cup of the sugar mixture. Roll the log starting with the long side. place it back in the fridge for 1 hr. To make the frosting make brown butter and allow it to solidify. Add the cream cheese and beat until fluffy. Then add vanilla and powdered sugar. Pastry Cream:
1 Cup Whole Milk
5 Tbsp Sugar

1/4 Cup Chocolate
Fruits- Blueberry,Blackberry,Strawberry, Rasberrry, Kiwi
1 Pack Plain Gelatin
1/2 Cup Hot Water

For the Crust put the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add the butter, and cut it in. Add the egg and mix it until the dough comes together. Place flour on a cutting board, and put your dough on the cutting board. Knead the dough with flour- up to 1 cup max. Knead until it becomes the perfect consistancy (No longer sticky). Place it in the fridge for an hour to make it easier to roll. Butter your fruit tart pan, and roll the dough out, and place it into your pan. Bake it at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. To make the pastry cream, boil milk, sugar, and vanilla paste. In another bowl add eggs and sugar. Whisk it until it becomes a creamy color. Add the cornstarch and flour slowly and whisk until its combined. Temper the egg yolk mixture by adding the milk mixture slowly. Once its tempered, pour everything back into the pot, and put it on the stove. Add the butter and cook until it becomes thick. Once its thick place it into a bowl, cover it with saran wrap touching the cream, and put it into the fridge to cool. To make assemble the tart, melt chocolate, and spread it on the tart, so that the crust doesn't become soggy. Once its dried, add your pastry cream until it reaches the top. Then add your fruits in the pattern you desire. To preserve your fruit tart mix gelatin and hot water. Wait until it thickens into a gel, and then brush it over the fruits. Place your tart in the fridge for a couple of ours to cool!

This apple pie is my grandmas famous apple pie recipe! It is so delicious! Its even better with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Ingredients
Apple Filling:
9 cups sliced apples (mix between granny smith and fuji)
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup White Sugar
1tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
2 Tablespoons Butter
2 Tablespoons Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Crust:
2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
3/4 Cup Crisco Shortening
5 Tablespoons Ice Water
Directions:
Wash and skin the apples, and cut them into small pieces. Add all the dry ingredients into the apples and mix to coat. Set aside. For the crust mix the flour and salt. Measure the shortening and cut that into the flour till it becomes pebble like. After that add water so that the dough will come together. Roll the dough out and put it in your pan. Save the other half to cover the top later. Add your apple pie filling in the pie pan. Add the butter evenly onto of the apples. Cover the apples with the other half of the pie dough. Cut holes on the top to let the pie breath. A tip is to place your pie on a baking sheet, so that if the juices drip, it won't get all over your oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with a big scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!
