texture mapping hardware demo Myst 777 2024-03-26 | During the calculations, the game and video is not speed up for proper demonstration. This unit is just the beginning, as I see many ways to make the whole circuit smaller :D However I needed a place to start. In terms of the parts which do the calculations, there are in count, 180 A+B / 2 units, However only 60 of them are mostly used for the calculations done on the initial values loaded into queue memory. Believe it or not, this circuit doesn't use program memory, just purely the flow of data done in serial in a specific manner to basically calculate 22 lines. Each line is calculated every 2.4 seconds or 24 redstone ticks.The lines themselves are not ordinary as they have a fixed amount of points which are always equidistant from each other, which actually makes the texture mapping component straight forward to do.Finally texture or sprite of creeper is simply an 8x8 arrangement of bits.Thank you for your time, I hope you have a great week :-)
line Drawer prototype demo - update 1 Myst 777 2023-11-12 | I hope you guys will enjoy, I have much more to show in the future and I am excited to work on all the parts I need to get there!DETAILS (for nerds) : the screen decoder is pass through, so the line drawer can be added to the display as an external device.The input is done in serial, with 4 coordinate inputs which correspond to 4 redstone lines.The internals of the line drawer is a pipe-lined system, so it can take inputs while working on the previous line calculation.The output has been capped to 4 (x,y) coordinate pairs per 2rt as the line drawer actually generates every point at the same time; so it needs to be buffered just to input to the screen ( that is the main bottle neck other than starting latency).Other than that I will be adding an option to manipulate the way the line is drawn so it can be filled in or drawn thin when drawing, this feature is simply added by comparing the differences of the (| x0-x1 |) and (| y0 - y1 |) as that will conditionally determine the optimal offset to mux for either the x or y input.

It can run in older versions that support texture pack changing, or in new versions. I am looking a forward to adding many features that give a helping hand to manual labor such as crafting or farming items that is only possible by certain means.
