Fortunately, I've brought some bread because I knew there would be a lot of cats roaming in my area, so I offered it. However, this little boy ignored the bread I offered and instead pounced on a stick that was on the ground. I broke a tree branch nearby and started teasing the kitten. It immediately left the stick it was onto earlier and pounced on the branch I teased him with. Although I left shortly after, I certainly had a lot of fun playing with him.I dedicate this piece for that playful kitten. The key Eb major sounds very bright and joyous and I think it depicts the energetic and playful nature of that little kitten. The first section is the main theme of this piece. The dynamics can be very flexible for this certain section, depending on how one would like to play it. The part starting at 0:45 is played more lightly and carefully compared to the previous section, symbolizing the fragility of kittens. In fact, I have never taken any orchestration classes before, and all of the orchestral sample libraries I used in this arrangement are free libraries (BBCSO Discover and Palette - Primary Colors), so it won't be as good as other arrangements in Youtube. But that's alright!
