Colors are not indicative of right or left-hand sections.Orchestral conversions to piano arrangements are still new to me, and this really challenged and improved my skill ceiling for both notation and ear work. All of Seycara's work is nothing short of masterpieces. This composition specifically brings back an unexplainable nostalgia which fits a grand end for the year. I highly recommend watching the instrumental music video.Orchestra sure as hell is hard to transcribe by ear, especially if the one doing it is rusty and unwashed. I made sure to be as accurate as I could whilst not exaggerate from the fullness of its harmony. So yes, my only reference was the orchestral instrumentation, but do not hesitate to provide feedback while I finish up the sheets.This piece requires adequate dynamic, accentuation, and articulation towards the middle and later parts. The goal is to be "light and waltzy" but grand when needed.
