Our NZXT PSU Self Destructed for a Weird Reason GN Extras 2023-01-08 | NOTE: Do NOT open up PSUs unless you know what you're doing and safely can (we know how to safely discharge them!). In this video, we do some cursory inspection on our NZXT PSU that self-destructed from idling for too long in between use on the streaming PC. The video shows some of our thought process and initial investigation into parts when they go bad. When Parts Dont Die (We Tried to Kill ASUS Motherboards) GN Extras 2023-01-02 | This video talks about the challenge we face on long-term testing projects -- namely, projects where we need a part to die in order to investigate a public concern about component quality. We had these boards in testing for nearly half a year, but ultimately tore it all down so we could reclaim the space. We spent about $1400-$1500 on motherboards, a lot of money on staff time, and ultimately, the ASUS Z690 Hero motherboards simply didn't die from the flipped cap issue. That doesn't mean they WON'T die, or that it's not a problem, but we simply couldn't recreate it.
