One day I really felt like playing the ever--popular game Zuma again and I found out PopCap actually made a sequel called Zuma's Revenge, so I thought it'd make for a pretty video here on the channel. At the time I made videos of the first Zuma (which happens to be a very popular series on my channel to this day !) Youtube didn't allow videos longer than 10 minutes, so I had to split up my footage into a lot of small parts. Since that is no longer a restriction, the easiest thing to do was to just make a single "longplay" video where I play the game from beginning to end. This here is "adventure mode", which is basically the main game. I'm sure you already know what Zuma is about and how it's played, even if you've never played it yourself, so I won't go into great detail here, since it's pretty much the same exact game, just with different graphics, though there are a few notable differences: every 10 levels you now fight a boss, where the idea is to shoot balls at him until he dies, while still keeping an eye on the regular balls which roll on screen like normal ! As the game progresses, the boss will sit behind more and more rows of balls which you have to break through in order for your shots to reach, so it becomes very intense towards the end, especially as some bosses fire back at you and can stun you momentarily, costing you precious time !
Another difference is that there are some levels in which the frog can hop between two different spots on the screen, giving you more ground to cover. Usually each spot covers half the screen, with a barrier in between, requiring you to jump to the other spot in order to tend to the balls over on the other half, so this adds to the difficulty quite a lot and keeps you alert !
Unlike the first game where the layout of the levels is such that the frog is always close to the middle of the screen and you can aim 360 degrees around you, here there are some levels where the frog actually rides horizontally left and right along the bottom of the screen and you only aim upwards (like "Luxor" for instance - another game in this style). This makes for some pretty tricky aiming, as your shots can only travel in a straight line, making it much harder to land them close to the edge of the screen, so it's another element of challenge.
If you enjoyed the original as much as I did, then you'll surely like the sequel as well ! Try it out !

After a very long streak of Mario Forever games, I thought Id play something else for a change and give Jazz Jackrabbit 2 another go. I did make a series of it before, but it remained one of my lesser-known ones, so I eventually ended up removing it entirely since it wasnt getting enough views and was just cluttering up the channel. I did it in my early days, even before my channel was known as DGV, so it was no longer up to standards: the videos were low quality and spread out over many short vids, one for each level in fact ! Now that my channel has grown a bit, Ill try reviving it just to see how well it appeals to the public and also to change the pace a bit, as were probably getting a little bored with Mario by now and some variety is in order. I might even go back and do the original DOS game again as well, since that one is split up into a ridiculous number of individual vids and they all kinda suck, so this is also a perfect opportunity to clean up and reorganize The Game Vault a bit. Let me know what you guys think and whether you want to see more. Danny out. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 PC Walkthrough (Ep. 4 - Funky Monkeys + Ending) [HD]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Zuivcxevj3g/mqdefault.jpg)

A fairly typical level. Once you have the power of all 7 emeralds and become Super Sonic, the levels become really easy to beat, since youre virtually invincible. The bosses are just pushovers - 10 seconds max to beat !
