After a very long streak of Mario Forever games, I thought Id play something else for a change and give Jazz Jackrabbit 2 another go. I did make a series of it before, but it remained one of my lesser-known ones, so I eventually ended up removing it entirely since it wasnt getting enough views and was just cluttering up the channel. I did it in my early days, even before my channel was known as DGV, so it was no longer up to standards: the videos were low quality and spread out over many short vids, one for each level in fact ! Now that my channel has grown a bit, Ill try reviving it just to see how well it appeals to the public and also to change the pace a bit, as were probably getting a little bored with Mario by now and some variety is in order. I might even go back and do the original DOS game again as well, since that one is split up into a ridiculous number of individual vids and they all kinda suck, so this is also a perfect opportunity to clean up and reorganize The Game Vault a bit. A fairly typical level. Once you have the power of all 7 emeralds and become Super Sonic, the levels become really easy to beat, since youre virtually invincible. The bosses are just pushovers - 10 seconds max to beat !")

Time for the last bit of footage of World 4, in good old fashioned longplay style, like you guys like it. Yeah, I said Id make short vids from now on, but not only the public didnt quite like it, but they also took longer to edit, so I changed my mind again :)) As far as the game goes, its currently on hold until a new version is released, which hopefully answers some of the complaints I have with this one, as its currently impossible to beat ! In my last video I went through Nmnmoohs World U for the first time. It was an OK experience to be fair, at least on the easy mode which seemed just right to me. However, what left me scratching my head was the ending : I went down a pipe in the castle and I got to a screen with just a message saying that Bowser was still alive and that was about it - the world ended there. I thought thats just the way it was meant to be, so I never gave it second thought until I got some comments saying I was supposed to go down a different pipe in the castle to get to the real boss, so of course I had to try again to get the proper ending. I said I wanted to try a higher difficulty setting, but after doing so a couple of times and failing each time, I got pissed and just went with the easy version again. Even so, it took me quite a few tries to finally win ! The levels themselves are pretty easy, but the boss is where the world takes a very steep learning curve. While it took me a lot of time to get the hang of it, I have to admit it only took some practice before I was finally able to defeat Bowser. The biggest issue is, once again, the lack of continues, so if you run out of lives during the final battle, you have to go through the whole world again, because theres no way of getting any more lives once you make it to Bowser. Its not so bad on easy, its just tedious, but imagine playing on the normal or hard settings, where the difficulty of the regular levels themselves is brutal ! Nobody feels like playing the early stages again and THEN fight the boss ! You just want another shot at Bowser right away, but instead you have no choice but to get sent back to square one. Next time Ill definitely have a go at the normal version, since I promised Id do so for so long. Im pretty sure Ill get my ass kicked and the video will turn into a fail video, but who knows ? With a bit of luck and with the skill Ive accumulated by beating the game once, I might be able to do it. Make sure you stay tuned ! :D")
